Dress for xmas do - what do you think?
1 Attachment(s) I have seen this dress in a little shop in seven dials for our work xmas do, and I really like it in theory. It's teal satin, with a bandeau top and puffball bottom. The dresscode is black tie, but I have been to about a zillion black tie do's so am fundamentally unexcited about wearing one of the black cocktail style dresses I have, and want to wear something more interesting.
My issue with this dress is the back, posted below, as it has lacing up the back. I don't mind backless, but seem to have an aversion to lacing.
What do you guys think? Is it nice enough to get over the lacing phobia, or should I ditch the dress altogether?

Thanks
Answer:
I would recommend the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, it's not huge but it has loads of vintage jewellary, a lush chocolate shop and some unique finds. One of my friends picked up a beautiful oriental print bomber for only 50 euro in the sale!!
