Primark today
Well I went to Primark in Newcastle and got the following
Grey velvet bag with sequins around the top - £5 ( I love this :yay: )
Big chunky silver belt with little metal stud detail all over it and massive buckle - £4 ( lovely belt, better than a Dp's one that I got for £12)
Black and silver speckled belt with different sized metal stud detail all over it - £5 (another nice belt :) )
Ivory zip cardigan - £6 (not the one I wanted, but nice enought. Wanted the one with buttons on in an oatmeal colour, but couldn't see any)
1 pair of ivory cosy socks - £2
1 pair of brown argyle patterned tights - £2.50
Really pleased with what I got today :yay: . There was lots of the black pirate boots in all sizes. Wish they had all the sizes in the brown ones the other month when I went, as I had to get 6's as there was no 5's. No one seemed to be looking at these when I was there. They look quite nice and if I was actually getting my wages this week, I might have been tempted to get a pair, but saying that, I have only worn the brown ones twice since I got them 2 months ago :eek:

I'm not sure which ones best, Newcastle or Darlington? I'm guessing newcastle will be bigger ( not been to the darlo branch)

I have never been to the Darlington one, but I love the Newcastle branch :) . It was of course packed today. I really love the belts that I bought. I never had a chance to look at the jewellery, but will be going back next week, as I was with my friend and she didn't have long to shop. I like taking my time in there and prefer to go along. My friend was telling me to put belts back, as at one point I had a few in my hand! Never used to be this bad with belts. She said that she only has 2 belts! :eek: . My belts are taking over my wardrobe :lol: . By the way, how does every one else store their belts?

The Newcastle one is at least 6 million times better than the Darlo branch.
The Darlo one sucks ass BIG TIME!
The Newcastle one is hooge, two floors and they are big floors! Whereas the pikey Darlo one is about the size of a big corner shop (which it is!) :lol: and has not much in it apart from a serious excess of gypsy skirts (yes, still) and of course the ubiquitous Primark acrylic jumpers.

My work Xmas party invite says ‘Cocktail Dress’ as the dress code. Clearly I am not going to take this literally.
I sort of know what I will wear but I need advice on what accessories to get to complete my outfit.
A very simple black top almost like a tank top but an evening tank top with a wide skirt below the knee with tulle underneath. High heels…
What jewellery should I wear or what accessories (stole, shrug??)
Any ideas as I am not very inspired.

Saw a really nice black funnel neck winter coat in Jane Norman, but the 12 is slightly too small.
Do they do coats in size 14?? I couldnt find any coats in anything above 12, and looked in two different shops. Their site doesnt have online shopping unfortunately.

I tried a main store and a concession in Debenhams. It was a couple of weeks ago, so I will try them again this weekend.
It was just odd that I could see 14s in loads of sizes, but none of their coats. Just like coats more roomy :D
