what to wear on feet when wearing ballet pumps
...and skinny jeans.
Obviously socks are out of the question, but I can't wear those flesh coloured ankle highs either as they cover my tattoo and look really obvious and granny like. However, I do need to find something to keep my feet warm as its now getting really cold...
What do you guys wear with ballet pumps and jeans in cold weather, or do you abandon them altogether for boots?
Answer:
I sometimes wear coloured or patterned tights/knee highs. Or sometimes some funky glittery socks!
Answer:
I have tried glittery socks etc but they make me look a bit of a dork due to huge feet. :(
patterned tights sound good though
Answer:
I wear fishnet socks with mine! ;)
Answer:
I wear the ankle high black opaque sock type things, they just look like you've got tights on. I've got them on today with straight leg black trousers and my cosy long black slouchy neck jumper.
Oh yet another quick question about Uggs

Oh yet another quick question about Uggs
You know the tall ones? Well I'm sure someone mentioned on here that they are very narrow round the top of the calf? I tried some on in Schuh and they were fine. Is it a particular style that is narrow? Only wondering as sometimes I can't fit into zip up knee high boots (the MS slouchy's are fine:yay: ) so thought I better check before ordering them.
Answer:
I find them fine
Answer:
Cheers Loony, they are being ordered NOW. Before the rest of the UK want them in this weather!
Answer:

Help - need 'slinky' dress for black tie do!
My first post in fashion, but I'm hoping all you knowledgable ladies can help me!
I'm going to a black tie do next month (work Xmas do) and the guy I'm seeing will also be there - so obviously I want to look good ;) and have decided to treat myself to a new evening dress.
We were talking about it last night, and I'd said I was having trouble finding a dress I liked. He said "Well, obviously it's got to be something slinky!"
Sooo - anyone seen any nice *slinky* evening dresses?! Preferably long, I think.
(Btw, I'm about 5'7", size 10, small chested (so can't do strapless! ) v pale with v dark hair. If that helps!)
Thank-you!!!
Answer:
I just got a very slinky dress for black tie - its all beaded and heavily lined (nicer than sounds!) and so hangs nicely, from TK maxx so you could try there? Whats your budget? Debenhams always has a very large selection, and I *think* warehouse has started doing some more formal clothes?
x ohara
Answer:

This one's very slinky!
Answer:

Answer:
Don't forget you can still get 20% off at Debenhams if you buy on line -ends this Sunday!
Both dresses are gorgeous by the way :)
Cowboy Boots - in or out?
NO.4. ask :
Cowboy Boots - in or out?
Hi, I have a pair of cowboy boots which I bought from Dune over a year ago, the heel is going on them and I want to get another pair. Are they still fashionable. I find them so comfortable.

I have some on the way from ebay. I don't know if they are in or out, but they look really nice with lots of outfits. I think I prefer them now that they aren't everywhere IYSWIM.
x
Answer:
I've always got a pair in the back of my wardrobe and always wear them whether they are out or in, I like them under jeans.
If you like them get some more!
Answer:
I don't have proper cowboy boots but I have the western harness boot style things, and I have a feeling they're a bit "out" - but I wear them anyway as I can't afford to replace them with similar British style equestrian boots.
But if you're concerned about being "in" then the riding boot style is probably what you should go for. But I imagine they're not very forgiving, being totally flat and straight legged....

Why not just take them to a cobbler get them fixed? It will save you a hell of a lot of money, and then you could buy a different pair of boots.
Dresses for girls with a small bust
NO.5. ask :
Dresses for girls with a small bust
Well the title says it all. I have yet to find a dress to flatter my small bust, even the Miss Selfridge dress did me no favours :( Bought two more dresses today they just gape at the bust.
Calling on all small chested girls for advice as to what to wear to flatter my shape. Help!!
Answer:
it depends on if you have a bony chest as well. if you don't you can get away with really low things and not look like a tart, but if you're too bony it might not look too nice. but in general boat necks are good, and any high neckline really. i wouldn't bother trying to fake a bigger bust though, whenever i do that i just get confused because i think i look weird and get really mixed up about what to wear :o oh and backless is always good!
Answer:
I normally get the same problem, I'm a small 32B, but have a tiny ribcage so things just flap around at the bust.
Having said that, the Topshop empire line dresses are a bloody miracle, this one is my favourite - I look like a buxom wench, which is seriously what I'm not!:
If you lookhere you can see a comparison of me in a normal dress.
Just realised I'm inviting people to look at my bust.. please don't ban me!
Answer:
 looks totally different!
I have one similar to the one SG as posted and i'm a 32b too, definitely get one in that style as from what you can see of smallgirl's it does make a difference. :)

Absolutely PMSL :D
I'm looking forward to the pictures of your new shorts ;)
I agree with annanas, with a smaller shest you can get away with more, a friend of mine has tiny boobs and manages to look classy even in dresses and tops with necklines that finish around her belly button  The lucky moo just looks gaceful and statuesque!
