I desperately need to buy myself some new winter clothes and haven't been into town for ages. I'm 41 and don't really read the fashion mags, that said I'm a young 41 and still buy from high st stores !! I work from home so don't really need office wear, more casual.

I've just been round to my mum's to pick it up (I usually get parcels sent there as I'm hardly ever in or up in time for the postman :p ).
The 6 fits fabulously, if a little loose around my middle. It actually gives me a cleavage, wahey!
I thought I might be disappointed with the quality of the fabric but it's actually really nice.
The 8 will be making it's way onto ebay shortly...! :lol:

Mine arrived today - a size 14 - fits perfectly round the bottom but is rather gaping at the top, and I have not much boobage to fill it! If I wear a bra and bend down, you can see the bra, but if I go without a bra and bend down, it's not as bad, but it's still on the loose side. I know a 12 will be too small round the bum area - wonder if I could get it taken in somehow round the top, or is it worth all the effort? It is a lovely dress...!

Mine arrived. Size 6 fitted perfectly on the bottom but too big on top. :eek:
And it was way too short on me.
ETA: Netti, I would imagine that it could be taken in a bit on top fairly easily as it has a seam round the waist. Although I'm no expert!!

I put some jeans on ebay and in the description put 'Originally £42' (which they were) but i got them for £16.80 in the sale and it has this in red pen on the tag. The bidding's almost up to the amount i paid, so when i send them should i leave the bit that says '£16.80' showing or should i cover it up? Will the buyer be annoyed if they paid more than that at the end of the auction because i said they were originally £42?
Sorry, just a bit confused and feeling a bit guilty cause i didn't think i'd get too much for them!

Looking at if from the buyers side I would be pretty miffed if they arrived with £16.80 on the tag and I thought they sold for £42!!

Yeah i'll find some way of covering it. At the time i thought nothing of it because i wasn't even expecting to get the £4.99 starting bid i was asking! They have other tags saying the brand etc. on them so maybe i could completely get rid of the price tag? I always manage to get in a muddle with ebay!

Did you guys see chicos performance tonite - have to say i actually thought it was very good, bless him, i loved the little kiddiewinks in it - especially that little black child, doing that funky dancing :lol:
Anyway loved those black dresses them girls were wearing, i have seen them a few times, a few people have worn something similar when i have been clubbing but also in mags like NEW,CLOSER etc i have seen some of the stars wear them in different colours!!!!!
It looks fab with a belt on it as well, kind of seperates it
