cropped 50/60's style jackets any in primark?
Have seen quiet a few in topshop the usual places for around
£ 40 which i think is a bit much as may well be a passing phase ! I am wondering if anyones seen any of these in primark recently? .
Im planning a trip there at the end of the week to the manchester store. Im sure i heard a bagger mention a velvet one. Im after a cropped style with round collarless collar (!!??) cropped wide sleeves, in black preferably . Thankyou!

Ladies
for those of you who have tried them so far, can anyone tell me if the above the knee or the knee high slouch boots in topshop are any looser in the calve than normal knee high boots?
I always have trouble getting a pair to fit my (took ballet for years) muscular calves, so just wondering if the 'slouch' style of these new ones is more forgiving.

Haven't tried on the TS ones but I've seen them in store and they do look quite wide. I just bought a pair from Kurt Geiger though which I think are much nicer 'cause the leather's far softer and they're really slouchy. They have the turn over thing at the top so you can wear them as knee high or over the knee.
I actually thought they were a bit too wide for me 'cause I have pretty slim calves but they're really slouchy and I'll have jeans tucked in anyway. They were big enough for me to get normal non-skinny jeans in and still have lots of room so maybe have a look at them if the TS don't fit.
When I tried them on with some skinny jeans in Harvey Nics, 4 assistants came cooing over them so they must be nice!

does anyone know where to get the gloves without the fingertip coverings, and then the mitten part to pull over it... crap description, but maybe you know what I am talking about?

I've been having a mooch around ebay and saw that there were loads on there going really cheap - doing a search for fingerless mittens should work.

Hi,
I owned a John Zack dress briefly (got it from ebay), it looked great until I put it on.
I found that the cut wasn't very flattering-wrap dresses usually give me a nice waist but this one made me look a bit larger. I also thought it was a bit too short (came just above the knee, which looked odd- these dresses are made to be knee length or else a few inches above, this one was neither) and the material wasn't great. (My brother said it looked a bit like a dressing gown)
It's a pity cos the patterns and colours are great and they are quite cheap.
The dress was the pale blue one with a paisley pattern. maybe you'll find a better one? Or it might work better on you.

I bought a plain chocolate brown one of these and it fits me fine - it comes to about the knee on me, but I'm just 5 ft 5, so probably wouldn't be right on anyone taller.
I bought sent back a more expensive one from Boden that was patterned and that looked awful on me - it was too long, too much material in general and the pattern was rather gaudy. Their plain ones though might be better especially on someone taller.

I agree. I only buy the plain ones from Boden and although I'm 5'6" I have to have them all taken up as the length is major frumpsville.
