O/T Mr BB's just flooded the kitchen
He decided to try and plumb our new washing machine himself.
He put in some tea towels as a test wash, and then once we'd eaten tea we came back to puddles all over the floor.

I LOVE Christmas too. But I never start my preparations till well into december. I just saviour the anticipation now. My tree doesn't go up till about 2 weeks before, it keeps it 'special' for me, if you know what I mean.

As Primark in Derby has closed down I need to find another place as cheap but good to shop. What is the stuff in Peacocks like? I had a quick look in there a few weeks ago but it looked a bit 'old lady' to me.
Do they have good stuff if you search or are there better shops?

Peacocks can be a very much hit or miss place. They had some nice bags and evening tops in there a couple of weeks ago.
RIP Primark Derby :( It looks so strange in the Eagle Center without it!

I know! Its just typical that its only when I discovered how great Primark was a few weeks later it closed down... lol

I think peacocks is quite a good shop and like primark can be a bit hit and miss.
I was talking about jeans with a friend saying how I was on the search for some good jeans but at a good price too, hers were from peacocks for £8 and they looked really nice.

Not sure of anyother shops in the city center, but the Asda in Sinfin is good as it has a big clothes section. It's open 24 hours and a few weeks ago I managed to pick up a lovely pair of jeans (the best fitting pair of jeans I worn in a long time) for £10 at 7am on my way to work.

ok, i know i need to call newlook but s.a's can be so unhelpful !I know theers a few baggers in manchester area wondered if youd been in the new look in the arndale at the weekend or if so are they still selling those high heeled brogue type shoes in either a patent red or patent beigey colour.
The blonde showed a pic of hers ast week i think, in red, if so were there many in the shop ? Im off there on friday to get some at work at the moment unabel to make the call to new look. Thanks guys !

sorry bibbity im not sure how to post the pic, but the blonde did a post 'to jerrica' i think showing her red ones last week.
I was after the beigey partent ones or the red ones. They are a high heeled ( quite chunkyish heel ) in patent with a brogue detail at the front with fringing, sorry this is a rubbish description.
Maybe i just need to get to the shop but i want them to put them aside so i dont get disapointed if theybve not got them . I actually dreamt about them last week ! how sad !
