full length jeans don't do them justice, yet knee length skirts look a little odd with them!?
Maybe some denim gauchos, or a shorter skirt - any other ideas? :p

Seeing as its going to be so cold this winter I thought I should get myself a proper coat! I'm not really a coat fan and in the past have tended to wear fitted jackets with lots of scarves and shawls over the top! (this style looks good with all footwear from Uggs to heeled boots)
I'm thinking the best thing for me style wise would be a 60's style pea coat (but a good quality wool one!)
Has anybody seen any or do you have any other suggestions? What coats will you be wearing this winter?

I've got lots of jackets, but not that many coats. I've got a full length black wool coat that I've had for about 9 years - but it's so big and heavy I only wear it when it's REALLY cold, so it might come out this weekend.
I usually wear a three quarter length as my everyday coat in winter. I bought a lighter weight tweed number from Next for everyday wear - this is the one:
Mr Curls has also bought me this Max Mara one for Christmas but I'm not allowed to wear it until nearer Christmas :mad:

I'm on a big coat hunt too, although have loads I'll probably still wear this season like my cream wool full-length one with huge collar from Mango.
I'm after either a black or blue capey style wool belted jacket. I keep seeing lots in magazines I like the look of but not seen one I fancy in the shops.
There is also a really nice distressed blue/grey tweedy coat with belt I'm after. There was a pic of it in Heat :o last week, think it was from Wallis.
I'll see if I can find any photos..

When you get a new leather here or purse, before you use it do you treat it with anything to protect it? The last bag I had was nylon, but I have just got a leather one, and I'd like to know how to best care for it.

I love it when you buy a posh here that comes with leather cream and a little cloth to clean it with! :)
I'm sure you can buy colourless leather cream for shoes, and that would be just as good. Probably look in the supermarket?

Plus any decent shoe shop should sell shoe care products, which you could use on a leather here.
