Yeah, I think the ones I saw in TS were by Rare (in the downstairs, vintagey section). Didn't see how much they were though.....

I like that new downstairs bit in TS - well it's not new but it seems to have different stuff to before.

depends on the store policy for sale items - I think places like Next still have really good policies during the sale. I would have though anything with a student discount would fall under the store's normal policy.

As for student discount on sale items, it depends on the shop, you can get it in DP.

If it's within that shop's return time, then you should be able to take it back no hassle. Some shops will give you a credit note for the return of sale items rather than cash though - why I don't know!
I've never been anywhere that I haven't been able to use my student discount with sale items.

I haven't got a clue about shoe repair so please help. I bought a pair of vintage boots recently, but the soles are a bit worn at the front and the uppers are getting close to being damaged.
Would a cobbler be able to resole them easily and how much do you think it would cost? Thanks.

I'm sure a specialist place would at least have a look. If you go to www.britfoot.com they have listings of specialist shoe repairers, and I think you can search by area.

I took 2 pairs of boots to get resoled and heeled , one pair was so worn it had holes in but I love them and can't let them go until they are truly dead! It cost £9.50 for new heels, soles and toe guards (little plastic bits that goe on pointy toes so they don't scuff so easily).

A few questions really; Firstly do primark take cheques?! Silyl question I know but I've never seen anyone paying by cheque.
Secondly I've been invited to a hen party; the theme is school girls. I was thinking black skirt; high black stilletoes (sp) and a white shirt. What else?! It feels like its lacking something. I'm not splashing out- just primarking it ;)

But for schoolgirls, you will need a tie ( pref stripey) otherwise you may look like a waitress!
also long socks always look funky , again stripy ones work well, you can pick them up in markets so not expensive.
Tie your hair up in bunches or plaits and use ribbon.

When I dressed up as a schoolgirl, I Primark-ed it. I got a black short pleated skirt, white shirt, their stripey black knee high socks, that kinda thing.
