Short winter coats ( i know *yawn*!)

Short winter coats ( i know *yawn*!)
I've decided that i suppose *sulks* i should get a winter jacket. My blazer and scarf just wasn't cutting it when i went for a walk earlier, i was freezing! Luckily while i was whinging my OH said he'd buy one as part of my xmas pressie if i wanted on friday.
Now ideally i'd like one online so i can get it ready to wear shopping next week but if not real life suggestions are welcome too;) (Big change for me  )
I want it ideally to be....
*Black or grey (or both)
*Some kind of unusual detail or twist so it doesn't look too boring!
*Butt length at longest - come to the top of thigh type thing
*It too look good with my OTK boots, Buckle boots and uggs (Not too bothered about the uggs as i can wear something else with them)
* 60 pound tops
I know i'm being incredibly lazy, i'd usually look through the sites myself but i'd like to hear everyone's suggestions and maybe i'll see some sites i don't usually go to :)
Thanks in advance x
Answer:
Not much help but I have looked in all the usual suspects (MS, Zara, Mango, Debenhams, even Primark) and cant find one anywhere. I've also looked in Hobbs and Jigsaw - but nothing.
Perhaps GAP is a possibility? Other than that - beats me!:meh:
If you have any luck online can you post please CiC and I will do the same if I see any "real life" ones!
:)
Answer:
If you look at Mitchey's thread you'll see that I've been looking for one for days now with no luck. However, I don't want a black one otherwise I would have gotten one either from Zara or from **** (theirs are more expensive though)
Answer:
I'll let you know annie;)

This is from Boden but it has a flipping 4 week wait on it, has anyone seen anything similar about? Thanks xx
    Answer:
    40 views - I guess that's a no then :D
    Answer:
My mum just ordered one of Boden's wrap dresses for me for xmas and although it said 5 weeks  , it came within a few days. So I don't know if you'd be able to find out by phone if the website is correct or not before ordering but I would be inclined to order and you can always return it if you've found something else in the meantime.

Re. DP 25% discount - how does it work?
How do you actually get the 25% off at DP? I've clicked the link, typed in my email, been taken to the DP website. Then I've shopped got a couple of items in my basket and gone to the checkout. I'm now at the point where I put in my card details and confirm payment but there's still no mention of 25% off. There's box to enter a promo code but I haven't been given one.
    Help!
    Answer:
Technically it did finish on Sunday but, once you have put in you email address and sumbitted it are you clicking the bit that says "Click here to receive your discount?"
    Answer:
This is the screen you should get it (Captured it the other week when somebody was having the same prob :) )
I keep getting an error on page when i come to this page on this comp though...
    Answer:
Yep! I am, and that takes you to DP's site where you buy the stuff, right? But I'm not ending up with any discount.
    Answer:
If you are clicking the page that i posted above and it's still not working i would guess that the offer has ended. It was working yesterday and monday 2 days after it should have so maybe they have cottoned on:(

    Stomach holding in pants?
    Hi all,
Not sure this is the technical term :D
But I'm after something to do what is says on the tin,amd make look thinner! I don't mind if they have leg bits too, I'm mainly wanting to wear them under dresses.... The RM copy in particular.
    Any recs/help much appricated!
    Answer:
    spanx!
    Answer:
Can't help but let me know if you find some!! Will be wearing my galaxy dress this weekend and just know that after a few glasses of wine and a 4 course meal, my tummy will expand and this dress won't be very forgiving!! I had a look in Debenhams and MS at the weekend but couldn't find any that were seamless and I popped into Matalan today and the same goes for them too - unless of course you don't mind the stitching!
    Answer:
    Hello!
What you need are Magic Knickers! You can buy them in M and S in black, white and nude and they come in loads of different leg lengths, including ones that are like cycling shorts, so no seams. They're not very sexy but they really work!
    Hope that helps
    Answer:
spanx or the seamless ones from Debenhams or Flexees do the trick. Spanx look scary so take them off before any romantic moments, but my god they work.
