I know I'm pathetic..
But please help :D.
I bought a TS Roland Mauret Dress today - size 10 - (at least I think I did - £40, yah?), and I really want to put it on Ebay today since it's 10p day!
But I have no digital camera, so doesany bagger have a pic of the dress that is theirs that they would be willing to let me use in my listing?
Thanks a willion!
Answer:
Also, what postage should I use? Because end prices are round the 60 - 70 mark, so I presume I need to use a special delivery service, not just recorded?
Answer:
I'd use one of the piccies that other sellers have pinched off the topshop site. Just find one of them and right click 'save picture as'
They can't do you for copyright as they have pinched the pic off topshop!
Answer:
Wily  . Will I not get bollocked for stealing from a stealer, should TS decide to do their nut?
Answer:
I'd use recorded delivery with extra insurance or special delivery :)
Topshop haven't done their nut yet so i wouldn't worry about the piccie:lol:

    Las Vegus Theme
    Can anyone help me please.
We have our works xmas doo on the 9th December and it is a Las Vegus theme, it is going to be quite a posh affair.
You have guessed it my problem is, what do I wear ?
I would like to wear a dress but don't really want to spend over £60.
    Anyone got any ideas ?
    Answer:
think Sharon Stone in Casino - big hair, lots of makeup, long slinky dress, glitzy accessories. Alternatively, if you're brave, you could always go as a showgirl ! I'm sure you could hire a costume for the party.

Any idea where I can get a long slinky (not too figure hugging) dress from ?
    Answer:
most shops will be full of them this time of year in preparation for everyone's xmas parties. You could probably even buy a satin slip / nightie and spend your budget on a few glitzy accessories like diamante big earrings, bracelets, cocktail rings, a faux fur wrap or short jacket and metallic strappy sandals.
    Answer:
The reality of Las Vegas if you go there is large "out of towner" Americans in shorts and teeshirs, baseball caps and sneakers, drinking coke and eating (anything) while feeding coins into slot machines.

Our work Christmas do is coming up in two weeks- and the theme is red and black. I'd like to wear a dress in either colour, but....
I hate my knees so I'd like it to cover them
    AND
    I can't spend more than £50 really.
I don't like anything too fussy.
    Anyone seen anything? :)
    http://www.lucyinsky.blogspot.com
    Answer:
Lucy - so many pretty party dresses have come out in the last week or so!
the nicest ones I've seen have been in Oasis, Warehouse (really good selection) and French Connection.
How about going for a simple black prom dress and tying a red bow under the bust for the evening?
    Answer:
    Oooh I like that idea!
    Thanks!:yay:
    Answer:
1 Attachment(s) Ah that sounds like a lovely idea!

  • patterned popsocks?

    NO.4. ask :
    patterned popsocks?
I was thinking my lovely green Pied a Terre shoes would look good with some patterned - rather than plain black or flesh coloured - popsocks (I don't like wearing tights under jeans, hence the need for popsocks). I saw some in Top Shop, but they are £5 per pair! Isn't this ridiculously expensive for a pair of popsocks which will probably only last for a few wears?? Does anyone know anywhere where I can get something nice for less than that? Burgundy might be nice too - I was looking at burgundy fishnet popsocks, but £5/pair... hm... Am I being stingy?! I normally buy black/plain ones at Asda for next to nothing... I wouldn't mind paying a bit more than usual for patterned tights if I were to wear the shoes with a skirt (still looking for a nice skirt though!), but I thought it was a bit steep for a pair of popsocks...
ETA: the shoes are sort of Mary Janes and I wear them with my straight (narrow) leg Lee Maddox jeans (I mean, if I wear them with wide leg trousers/jeans, it doesn't matter as you can't really see the socks then).
    Answer:
MS popsocks are a similar price for patterned/ fishnet types which I find really annoying as well!
How about somewhere like Woolies or BHS - hardly glamourous, but might stock something like that a bit cheaper.
    Answer:
I bought some very cheaply from Asda!
    Go for it!
    Answer:
i bought some fuschia colour fishnets from asda the other day - sure they had others, maybe not an extensive range of colours but certainly striped or criss cross patterned black ones.hth.pvx
    Answer:
I got some black fishnet ankle socks from Ebay the other day £3.75 inc P P, they're fab :) They do other colours too

Bidnapper before? I need to win something on Ebay and won't be home when the auction ends and have run out of free snipes on Auctionsniper.
Anyone used this before? Does it work?

    Answer:
    Hey CaramelX,
Yep I've used them and they're exactly the same as Auctionsniper.
    HTH!
    Answer:
One thing I'm confused about is I've put in all the details of the auction but there's nothing to specify how many seconds I want it to snipe at
I take it just does it automatically when it sees fit? Or am I missing something?
