Has anybody seen these? You can have your name or a message embroidered on them. I saw them featured in a magazine, but know can't find it. I would really like to buy some. Does anybody know the company that does this?

Black Or Brown Gap Coat???

I bought a brown, tweed sort of effect, 3/4 length coat yesterday from Gap but when I got home tried it on with a thick jumper it was too small. I took it back today to get the next size up which was a medium but they only had the mediums in black so I decided to try it on anyway to see what it looked like. Well, the black did look nice but I also liked the brown so I asked th SA if he could have a look in the back to see if they had any medium brown ones they did. Annnnnyway, in the end I got the black as my Mum said it would go with more things but I'm not sure if I've made the right decision. I always get black coats thought brown would be a bit of a change but did agree that black would be more practical. What do you lot think? I can't really go back to that particular Gap store ask to exchange it again so might nip into a different one as I would be really embarrassed!

I wear a lot more black than brown, so I'd nearly always go for the black option. I do have a brown coat that I can wear with brown boots, but 99% of the time I'm in black!
And I wouldn't be worried about being embarrassed about taking it back! You're entitled to change your mind.

I do have a lot more brown things than black but as it's a coat you're not necessarily going to see what's underneath (except your shoes/boots) so I don't know which would be the better colour to buy. I do like black but was worried that it would look a bit boring as I always wear black coats thought brown would look softer. The reason why I'm embarrassed about taking it back is because I've already taken it back once because the size was wrong but as you said I am entitled to change my mind so hopefully it won't be a problem. You can probably tell that I am a Libran - I am so indecisive it's unbelievable!!! :lol:

the black pencil one with the huge bow on the bum? I love it but my bum is huuuge and I'm worried it will make my bum look even bigger though I do appreciate that pencils skirts grace curves very nicely.

I don't have it, but isn't pocket detail supposed to make your bum look smaller in jeans? (I may have got that the wrong way round, if so I apologise!) But if it is, then wouldn't huge detail on the back of the skirt go towards making your bum look smaller too?

My bums really stickey outey and so I'm thinking the bow will literally sit on top of my bum. I'll try it on and see. I have a feeling it won't be there though!

:lol: I'm used to the "I can use your ass as a coffee table" or the "Bloody hell, your ass is huge!" from my tactful friends :rolleyes: :lol: It's cool though. I like having a big bum but certain dresses and skirts just look wrong on me cos of it!

Hello! I wear anything from a polo neck to a long sleeved T to a vest top to just a bra and G depending on the weather! As long as you have no vpl and a t shirt style bar so there are no lumps and bumps that should be fine :)
