Cheeky request - today's Style magazine?
I'm not a newspaper buyer, so I was just wondering whether anyone has a copy of today's Style Magazine that they'd be willing to send me?
I'm after a nosy at the Primark A/W article so if anyone could scan it that could be great, otherwise I'm willing to cover any postage costs etc.
Cheers! BB x

Jeans flats
NO.2. ask :
Jeans flats
Do you have different 'flats jeans' 'heels jeans'? Or do you just roll up the long ones with flats/how do you wear them?
I always buy long so that I can wear them with both, but am bored with turn ups thinking of changing the pair I bought yesterday to regular length. I'm tall so rarely wear heels in daytime anyway.
Answer:
i buy a longer length jean to wear with heels, its a pain (a costly pain i might add!) but its a necessity.
i might wear a pair of old jeans with flats if theyre ever so slightly too long, and get that fraying thing going on a bit. depending on how grungey/casual my outfit is i think it can look ok !
Answer:
I'm with the Prof - I buy different lengths to wear with heels and flats. Well actually, it would be more accurate to say I always buy the same length jeans and get them hemmed to wear with flats.
Answer:
I have to buy short length jeans to wear with heels, so I dont really have a choice when it comes to flats :|
If they jeans are particularly short though, I will get a long pair just for wearing with heels.
Answer:
I do not specifically go out and buy different length jeans they just seem to come in different lengths even though I am buying the same size (random). I have **** jeans a lot longer than Topshop jeans. I do like the fraying look though. The bottom of my **** are buggered because of me scuffing around in trainers whilst they are practically hanging underneath my shoes. Am not a heels girl anyway, but it is definitely essential to have longer jeans with heels. Do not want boat sails hanging around above your ankles.
Maharishi Trousers how much
NO.3. ask :
Maharishi Trousers how much
Title says it all really.
How much does a pair of combats cost roughly at Maharishi.
Emsie
Answer:
Something like between £120-150, some are more some are slightly less, it's dependent on the style and detail.
Answer:
The standard ones start at around £130 - the embroidered ones start at around £190. Some of the more elaborate ones are around the £300 mark
They do have good sales at Christmas though - Mr Curls got two pairs for £120 and I got a pair for £70.
Also, check out www.yoox.co.uk - you can sometimes pick up pairs there for about £50-60.
www.net-a-porter.com usually stocks a good few pairs.

Answer:
I paid about £80 for a plain pair but that was in a sale
Answer:
I got a black pair with a bit of embroidery on them in Harvey Nicks and they were £120.
Primark in Style Magazine
NO.4. ask :
Primark in Style Magazine
I saw there were a couple of pages on Primark in The Times' Style Magazine this Sunday. It featured the Autumn 'must haves' (which is a real pain in the ass, as it means the items will sell out even quicker and more people will be wandering about in them, but ah well.)
My query is about a velvet 'military style' jacket they had pictured. Unfortunately I cant work out how to use my scanner, but maybe some of you have the magazine at home!
Its not the shorter one with gold buttons, which I saw in Primark yesterday, but a dark, longer one with what appears to be embroidery on? It does have buttons but they look black or grey, I think.
Has anyone seen it in a Primark branch yet? I really want it! I'm worried they'll all sell out before I get chance to snap one up.
Answer:
I think dark angel posted a pic of the primark jacket the other day :)
Answer:
Ah, thats not the jacket I mean! Its a different one that I havent spotted in Primark before. It might not even be velvet.. boy, am I helpful!
Answer:
Sorry i think i kinda skim read :o I will probably be going to Primark in the next day or two, will keep a look out for you :)
Answer:
 Thats fine, dont worry. If you could keep an eye out in Primark though, that would be great! I'm determined to get one.
New Look Heaven - Oxford Street London
NO.5. ask :
New Look Heaven - Oxford Street London
I actually managed to brave going into central London on Saturday and headed straight for the massive NL near marble arch.
NO tan leather bomber jackets - just blazer style ones.
there were some very cute black military style jackets with silver buttons on both sides of the jacket that sort of came down at an angle/slight-v shape ... but alas no 8s.
And perhaps because its coming toward the end of the sales, I couldn't find anything I wanted anywhere at all ... so unispired and so let down my NL ... that said I'm going to go back and see if I can get one of those jackets ... they're fab cheap!
Answer:
completely unrelated but I've been let down with NL for quite some time. I don't know if anyones noticed but the quality of the clothing seems really bad at the moment!!
Answer:
Yeah i agree Sapphire113 and I think that they're prices have gone up too. A lot of their t shirts are over £10 now, which I think is far too expernsive. Their sales are great though and their 'best buy' items, which have yellow tags. Even if the quality isn't great I don't mind when I haven't paid much in the first place.
Answer:
New look used to be great for those fashion items that youwould wear once or twice and then they would fall apart but you wouldn't mind so much as
a) You had only paid £10
and
b) The look was now over !
I was in there at the weekend and agree that the quality seems to have stayed the same (i.e. generally crap) and the price seems to have gone up to the same as Top Shop.
I think Primark is the new New Look !
Which I also went in and bought 2 military style coats and a denim mini waistcoat - came to £33 !!!! I do love a bargain !
:yay:
Answer:
I find the Marble Arch branch pretty rubbish. For a start it looks like a tacky Croydon nightclub and you have to climb up a huge shiny staircase thing before you even get to the shop.
The layout is pretty confusing and the merchandising is really poor.
The shoe area is a different story though. That's absolutely brilliant! New Look is still my mecca for cheap shoes, even if you do have to have them re-heeled within the first week!
