Uggs again, i know!!!

NO.1. Ask :
Uggs again, i know!!!
Just a quickie...
1. Is there enough space in the tall uggs to tuck in jeans easily?
2. Do you think tall uggs would look ok on a pear shape considering i'm going to tuck jeans into them or should i stick with Short ones?
I will shut up about them once i've got some opinions:lol:

Re: Uggs again, i know!!!
I will shut up about them once i've got some opinions:lol:
Why am I not believing this in the least?!
Can't help with the uggs though, as I've never owned any. :)
Answer:
Cheeky minx ;) :p
I promise i will shut up once i have opinions as i will make a purchase and not have to talk about them any more :D
Answer:
Well I should hope that's not completely true, as we'll have to see pics! :D
Answer:
I think tall ones look more flattering than short ones anyway so I would have thought they'd look better. Jeans look better tucked into short ones too.

    NO.2. ask :
    Updating a jacket!
    Hello!
The weather's now got me well and truly in autumn/winter mode! Can ya fashionistas come up with any cool ways of updating last year (actually maybe year before come to think of it) jacket?
It's a cord blazer from Miss Selfridge, in a dusty mauve sort of colour. I always end up wearing it with jeans but it looks so drab, considering its a gorgeous coat!
    Ta in advance,
    xxx
    Answer:
You could go down the adding loads of badges approach if that's your look?
I think sewing loads of pearly buttons around the seams or in some sort of pattern would look nice :)
Or putting military style buttons on the shoulders and changing the cuff buttons and front buttons to something similar
    Answer:
OMG have just found this site, you could have a field day customising with the stuff off here!
These were the kind of pearly buttons i was thinking of....
    Answer:
Thanks catwoman, I like the military idea cuz its got a couple of cute zip pockets on the arms anyway! :p
Any ideas what to wear it with though, as it's quite a good statement piece but I'm hopeless with putting outfits together
    Thanks!
    xxx
    Answer:
I use a lot of scarves with my jackets - it means that I don't need to spend time sewing.
    Otherwise, you could:
    - change the buttons
    - taking cic's idea further, you could try all sorts of decorations on the pockets or lapels or along the hem and if you are feeling really adventurous, on the back - but just on one of these and not all as you could look too decorated.
    :)

    NO.3. ask :
    What do you keep buying?
I've just been flicking through a mag and in an interview someone is asked "what do you keep buying eventhough you have lots of ? " -I though it would make a good hanbagger question!
With me it is the obvious in shoes and heres, but I also have a huge obsession with bracelets and bangles - I have 100's! Anyone else have a repeat purchasing addiction?
    Answer:
Slouchy vest tops from Warehouse, HM and especially Reiss are becoming a bit of an obsession but they're essentials really! Same with shoes, you can't go out barefoot can you!
    Answer:
Good point on the shoes! - Justification is always good!
Slightly O/T but I read my stars in the free Metro paper the otherday and it did make a comment about buying up half a shoe shop - the day after I had bought 2 pairs! I am obviously governed by higher forces:p
    Answer:
Predictable heres and shoes, especially boots.
Mr CiC takes the piss out of me now as i've started displaying my shoes like works of art on top of my wardrobe:rolleyes:
Have a slight obsession with shrugs too:o
    Answer:
    Jeans. It's an addiction.

    Jelly shoes for the sea?!
    Hey,
I'm posting this on behalf of my friend...she's off on holiday next week, and she's looking for some of those jelly sandals you used to wear when you were younger to go in the sea with - she hates touching the sea bed! Anyone know where she can find any that aren't kids ones (she's a size 7/8).
    TIA! LL*

    NO.5. ask :
What to wear with these shoes?
I bought these topshop shoes a while back and i love them but i really don't know what to wear with them:rolleyes:
Has anybody got some fabulous inspiring ideas?
    Answer:
hmm sorry no fabulous inspiring ideas but i think that pale denim would look really good with those shoes- especially a short cut off denim mini skirt. maybe you could try to get a vest top or t shirt in a matching colour to the shoes and wear them with a nice skirt. sorry not very inspiring but i'm sure you'll look great- the shoes are really nice.
    ooh just had another idea:
how about pale purple or sky blue? you could get some nice tops in these colours too.
    ooh and:
i would say wear a brown bag to go with your outfit.
    xx
    Answer:
Thanks for the ideas :) I really wanted to be able to wear them in winter though.
It's one of those colours where i'm not sure what to put with it. Don't know if brown will go because of the shade of green:confused:
I didn't think of teaming it with an all black outfit (I'm thinkin black gaucho's and the black warehouse puff sleeved top when it arrives) but i'd like to be able to wear it with more than just that.
Jeans seem a shame because they will cover the shoe and i don't think they will really go with croppped jeans.
I thought maybe knee shorts and thick tights (i know it breaks the no tights with peeptoes rule! but i thought it could look kinda quirky but probably too quirky for me!)
Arghhhh i dunno   :o
    Answer:
i think tights might be a problem with these shoes because of the fact there not smooth leather so i'd say fishnets are a no no and opaques and sheers would look a bit naff (sorry!).
if you can go bare legged, i'm with you on the gaucho / city shorts look - they'll look fab! get some turquoise jewellry to tie them in (mikey's got some great stuff in at the mo').
    Answer:
    Thanks Shizzy!
I thought tights might be pushing it, it's probably too Topshop worker quirky/funky for me.
I just really stuck on what colours to wear with them really, i can only think of black:confused:
I have lots of turquoise jewellery but the shoes are more greeny in the flesh so i'm not sure it would work, or maybe it could because the accessories wouldn't be next to the shoes?
