What boots will you be wearing?
NO.2. ask :
What boots will you be wearing?
Sorry if this has already been done, I haven't done a search. Basically the title says it all....what boots will you be wearing this A/W? I don't have a clue where to start!
Answer:
Probably the same ones i was wearing last year, but i may buy a pair or two more. I plan to replace my fake uggs with real ones :) I've also got a pair of brown worn leather wedge boots with a buckle on the side that i love and i have a pair of black flat leather strappy boots that i'm probably going to replace with another type of black boot that goes with more items of clothing-they have a funny squarey shaped toe which i really don't like!
I hope to get some sort of black high heeled boot but i don't know which type yet, i'm waiting to find a pair that i fall in love with!
Sorry to ramble there.
Answer:
I've just bought some tall chesnut uggs (finally!) :yay: Planning to wear them around the house and for freezing days.
I've also got some Teal suede round toe boots for my more funkier times....
I also want some tan Topshop buckle boots for casual days and i also have my old faithfuls from last year :)
Answer:
My grey buckle boots from Topshop, because at £95 they have to be worn to death!
Also on the look out for a pair of black velvet wedge boots - saw a girl wearing some, but hers were from Xmas time. They sound awful, but they were gorgeous - looked vintage.
Never owned a pair of Uggs, real of fake, but might consider investing in a pair to wear to the office in winter if they're as cosy as everyone says.
xx
Answer:
My new slouchy dark brown leather knee boots with turnover thing. Roundish toe and thickish heel.
My tan gaucho boots from last year - slightly scuffed now but think that looks good in a way.
Black kind of rouched suede knee boots from last year.
Maybe brown pointy knee high boots from years ago that I rarely wear.
Bras with "invisible" see-through straps
NO.3. ask :
Bras with "invisible" see-through straps
I'm sorry but am I the only one who thinks these are the NAFFEST things ever invented.
YOU CAN FECKING SEE THE STRAPS:confused:
I went to a dinner party last night and two of the ladies there had strappy tops on with these bras on underneath. I SO SO wanted to ask - WHY ARE YOU WEARING THEM?????????
tbh as they were fairly well endowed ladies, I can appreciate that they certainly need to wear a bra (otherwise  ), but can't you buy strapless ones, or a really lovely bra that you don't mind showing (so long is it "goes" with the style of the top obviously) or DON'T buy those sorts of tops
There are loads of things that I can't wear - ie skirts about the knee as I have HORRIFIC knees - in fact even when it's BOILING I won't wear anything shorter than 3/4 length trousers!! But that's fashion isn't it??? You sacrifice so you can look good!!
Anyway, recently I've seen more and more people wearing these bras and I just think  TACKY TASTIC!!!!
Is it just me??:o

ps - These girls are v good friends of mine otherwise I'd definitely say something. A month or so ago went on large girl's night out and went round to friend's house to get ready. Anyway she comes out - How do I look??
FAB but LOSE the bra!!! Now she DOES have good boobs so looked fine (only a B cup!!) without a bra.
Answer:
I don't get them either:confused:
Surely the idea is to make you look like you aren't wearing a bra but i hate to say....YOU CAN SEE YOU ARE!!!!
Like you said katkinn, i can't wear certain things. I'd love to wear backless tops but simply can't let my puppies free:o
There are good strapless bra's out there now, even for bigger boobed ladies.
I'd rather wear a pretty bra strapped bra than a plastic strapped one. If they are going to be on view you may as well make them look pretty:)
Answer:
what is worse imo is girls wearing a dirty grey ( was once white mind you ) bra under a halter neck top...
also bra straps showing under racer back bras- there's no excuse I can't wear strapless bras as they make me look pointy but I have a bra that fastens as a racer back, they are everywhere and not expensive.
One I saw today, a bra under a boobtube :shakesheadsmiley:
Answer:
I have one of those bras, it has a clear back too, I only wear it under one top though, its a 'muscle tee' style with a slashed up back and straps, and you can't see it. else I would have an extremely visible back strap across my back.
Tani
Answer:
I think they can be a bit naff too... I certainly don't understand people that wear them with strapless or halterneck tops... but they're not so bad on some tops that cover them up ok but are still prone to pop out... not so obvious as white straps.
Brora sizing
NO.4. ask :
Brora sizing
I'm about to buy some Brora jumpers from their website but wanted to check what their sizing is like (i.e. is it on the generous side or not).
I'm slim but with a 34DD chest and can't decide whether to go for a 10 or a 12 (probably 12).
I want the jumpers to look nice and fitted but then again they can't be too tight as I want to wear them to the office.
Any ideas?
Answer:
I'd say it's fairly true to size but I know my mum always complains that their things are a bit short. It says the lengths in the catalogue though so I don't really know why she always says this!
Fit-wise I don't think I'd go up a size. I get an 8 but always wish their things were a little bit more fitted. Makes them cosier though. Having said this, I don't have a big chest so depending on the style you might be better with the 12. You get more cashmere for the same price anyway! ;)

Answer:
If it makes you happy and you cann afford it, why not?? ;)
It's cheaper and better for your health than drugs:p
Answer:
I LOVE bags (and belts). I don't spend much on them (couldn't feed my addiction if I did!!). I agree, if you can afford it, go for it. A nice bag makes all the difference, I think!
Answer:

Not sure if it's cheaper!
