Not really fashing - but involves spending money!!
One of my best mates little girl is getting christened next Sunday. I've narrowed the present down to either of these tiffany baby dinner sets
or this rattle
They're all £85.00
Otherwise, I quite like this money box - and it's only £50! but think I prefer the other presents more.
I don't know what to pick! Please help me decide. I'm leaning more towards the rattle cos I know it can't be smashed or anything....
Answer:
I love the first dinner set, it's so cute!
Answer:
I have a plate set from my christening that i treaure so would probably go for one of them.
Not sure if the rattle is supposed to be used but i wouldn't give my baby a metal rattle and if it can't be used it's pretty useless.
I'd say the plates of money box, at least they can be displayed :)
ETA: If you got the piggy ones the baby could learn the one little piggy song and if you got the others it could learn all the different animals :D
Answer:
The second dinner set (the one with the giraffe etc) is really cute - I'd go for that!
Answer:
I adore the look of the rattle but i agree with CiC that it might not be best for the baby whilst she's a baby, if you know what I mean!
TBH they're all lovely (love the second crockery set) but if I'd have been given a beautiful rattle like that as a baby I know it would always be nestling in my jewellery box, looking fabulous and I'd see it every day. With a dinner set, as you say it could be smashed and I don't know whether I'd want to display it.

    true religion jeans sizing?
do they tend to come up large or small?
(i have hips and a waist, are they crap for hips and waist girlies?)
    Answer:
    Answer:
mimi, betty ford and loony are all fans in case you need somehting specific twinkle x
eta: i *think* its loony, but it could be annanas :o sorry girls, when i finally meet you i'll have it sorted in my head :o
    Answer:
Well.. I'm normally an 8-10 in normal jeans, about a 27 then, but I bought a 28 in my Joey's. At first they were tight, but after a few washes they've loosened up a bit, but still fit nicely. I think a 27 would have been a better 'perfect fit' on me though.
Sorry, that didn't help much, but if anything I think they're fairly true to size really!
    xx
    Answer:
I'd say they're pretty true to size too. I'm tall with a long body so find them a little low in womens fits so tend to buy mens to save the world from my builders bum.

    Paris Hilton's Contact Lenses
Anyone have any idea what brand they are? A bit of a long shot I know, but I know her eyes are quite dark normally and they look a nice blue shade without showing any dark part of the eye unlike other coloured lenses I have tried.
Any help would be gratefully received! ;)
    Answer:
    Anyone?
    Answer:
Sorry, I don't know the brand but you are probably best going to an optician and asking. There are so many different types of lenses now effects depending on your natural eye colour, which go from Colourblends and Enhancers to full opaques ( this is probably what she wears given her eyes are so dark naturally). If you have lighter eyes you won't need this type.
Here is a link that shows the different types.

    NO.4. ask :
    which chanel bag?
i'm considering spending an unexpected work bonus on a chanel bag. My nearest store is Brown Thomas in Dublin, last time I was there I loved the traditional soft leather shoulder bags. As this will be a lifetime investment, and I will never be able to buy another I wonder what colour I should go for? Black? currently untrendy but might not date. Pink? to die for but will it last longer than a season? Or white? can only use it in summer. What would you guys do? I'm budgeting for £1000 max, must be leather and classical. Thanks everyone
    Answer:
Don't know how old you are, but I personally don't think chanel bags look right on anyone under 40-50... but if you're going to go for one as a long term investment, definitely go for black.
    Answer:

   i like to think mine looks good and i'm certainly not in my 40s!
i'd go for black, it's supposed to be very in this season anyway. this is mine, it's from nearly 2 years ago so they don't do this exact one anymore (which i like  you can't tell from the picture but the chains are different from the ones they do now, there are 5-6 rows of them and they vary in size).
i wouldn't go with a pink one, but i'm not very big on pink anyway. the particular shade they tend to use is one i especially dislike so i'd definitely say no to pink, and white would just be too difficult to keep clean.
mine was £575 (and a birthday present :yay: ) in the duty free so you should be able to get a decent size bag for £1000, but i'd get a smaller, elegant one. to me chanel has to be elegant, i really dislike the cambon like, it's so obviously just a cash cow and it looks very ungraceful to me. and of course if you get a smaller one you can spend the rest on a pair of shoes to match ;)
    Answer:
Defo black, but get a tote sized one.
    Answer:
I love that bag Ananas - so very chic!
I agree with Aquamarina in some respects though - black is so wearable and a tote sized one will probably be really useful for years to come.
Mind you Ananas size is lovely - or maybe one inbetween! :( (Sorry I'm really not much help am I!? )

    Wish I had asked her!
Whilst browsing thru the lovely shoes in Schuh on Fri evening a girl walked in wearing a pair of trousers in a style I hadn't seen before. I'll do my very best to describe them.
When I first saw them, I thought it was a denim skirt but when she walked I realised they were trousers. They weren't cullottes but more of an arabian knights style trouser if you know what I mean - it was like only the bottom bit was trousers... they looked quite puffed up! haha im not very good at this! They were roughly knee length.
I wish I'd got the nerve to ask her where she got them from but just didn't have the bottle! Any ideas? I'm going to Milton Keynes shopping tomorrow so I would like to keep my eye out for them once i know what im looking for!
    Answer:
can't help with the trews sweetie - but I know what you mean about wishing you'd asked people where they got things. I only tend to see people in things that I want when I am on my way back from the gym and shiny faced in my manky trackies and am always too ashamed to ask them. ANd then I spend the next week wishing i had some balls!
    Answer:
awww thanks anyway - it was my own fault for not asking her.... lesson learnt there i think!
    Answer:
I could be way off, but I think I know what you mean?
Where they sort of baggy, as if they had a funny low crotch and puffed up at the top?
If so, someone posted a thread on here a while ago about this 'new style of trousers' - I'll see if I can find it.
I saw something similar to those in HM the other day...so if we're talking about the same thing then you should check there!
    Answer:
I always ask people! It drives my boyfriend mad, as I usually get chatting and before you know it an hour's passed ;)
