slippy shoes
I bought new shoes and the soles are very slippy.
Any ideas of what I could use other than cobblers.
Thanks
Answer:
Try scoring the soles using a knife/fork. Be careful you don't hurt yourself.
:)
Answer:
What Jasmine suggests works also you could try rubbing them with sandpaper to roughen them up!
Answer:
The graters you get for lemon rind are also good for this.
Answer:
take a few strides around outside on a rough pavement... usually does the trick for me.

Crikey, 10 weeks! What did you order?

well it was a custom order as it is enormous so I can lug my laptop, college stuff and weekend clothes up and down on the train. however I still think it took too long!

Mine took about the same time.
sunday supplements?
NO.3. ask :
sunday supplements?
Can anyone tell me which of the fashiony type supplements that come with sunday papers is the best pls?
I still read grazia but have pretty much abandoned all the other glossies etc - I don't have enough hours in the day!
But my OH will read a sunday newspaper if I buy one (for the supplement of course! :o ).
I've been reading the Times' Style which I like, and I read the telegraph fashion online (do they do a mag? Is it just the same articles in it? Comparable to Style?)
Are there any others I'm missing out on?
I just want something up to date, regularly with news on what's due :)
Answer:
The Telegraph have articles on Monday and Friday and odd bits mid week - simply reproduced online. There has been a letters page in recent weeks which is rather novel :D
The Sunday Telegraph Magazine normally has around a 6 page spread on clothes. Rarely much comment though. And this Saturday they had A/W hot looks - pictures of key looks from the catwalk.
I read the Telegraph but personally dislike Hillary Alexander
Answer:
I like Sunday Times Style as it's just a good read - quite entertaining and witty as well as good fashion stuff. I like to read it whilst I have my sunday tea! :)

Answer:

Colours of Paddington
NO.5. ask :
Colours of Paddington
What colour do orginal Paddingtons come in? The department store here only has black and pale tan, and the SA insists that's all that it's made in.
Coincidentally, NAP only has black and tan on the site as well.
I've seen Lush ones in other colours, but I'd love to know if the original one comes in other shades, ideally dark brown?
Thanks x
Answer:
It comes in a luscious cherry red, khaki, chocolate and charcoal - off the top of my head.
Think you might be able to see the colours on the luisaroma (?) website, but can't quite remember the website addy - can someone help?
Answer:
