Terrible dilemma!
So, after having spent a happy hour yesterday in Topshop, perving at all the boots on display, I have narrowed my choice down to these boots, in either red or black. And yes, you've guessed it, I can't decide which colour to get  Any opinions? Both colours will work with my wardrobe, so there's no particular obvious choice.
And do you think I could get away with wearing them with knee length skirts and opaque tights?
Also, going slightly O/T, I was rather disappointed with the rest of their boots - the otk and buckled pirate ones did nothing for me, luckily! The other long pirate boots just looked as though I was wearing fisherman's waders!
Thanks in advance!

Answer:
OHMYGOD!!!!
They are totally gorgeous!!!They remind me of boots I had a few years ago when I was a mad Prince fan (yes I am old).
I would get them in black personally, and you're right they will look fab with pretty much anything, trousers, jeans, short skirts and tights.
Buy them!!I want some now as well.
Answer:
They're a mere £75 (!), Lomie - join the rush! The red ones have already disappeared from the website, so I think they're selling out fast.
Black probably would be more sensible, I know, but I love the red ones :boohoo:
Aaaargh! Decisions, decisions!

Answer:
get the red then if you love them,I'm just not a fan of red, however if they came in green or turquoise,I'd be there like a shot!
£75 is ok,I want.
Answer:
Ah, but I love the black ones too, you see!
I *think* New Look have some slouchy turquoise boots (slightly longer in the leg and slouchier); Catwoman has them, I think. I've been trying to find them myself!

Winter bags- leather or more practical material?
NO.2. ask :
Winter bags- leather or more practical material?
Just wondering if you should have a more practical ie canvas bag for Winter/autumn due to the weather rather than using a leather bag?
Answer:
To me leather is as practical as you can get in Autumn/Winter.
Answer:
I always go for leather as well - depending on the type of leather and style of bag, the more worn it gets the better it looks. :)
Answer:
But what about the rain etc?
Answer:
But what about the rain etc?
Just use a waterproof spray / Scotchguard it! I woudnt dream of using anything other than leather in the Winter months - its ONLY in the Summer that I would use lighter canvas type fabrics.

Shoes with Leather soles- are they waterproof?
NO.4. ask :
Shoes with Leather soles- are they waterproof?
shoes with leather soles are they suitable for autumn/winter
Answer:
Hi!
I always try to buy leather shoes are they are much better and healthier for skin...however, leather soles can be quite cold for winter and sometimes do absorb water...so what I usually do, is instead of giving up my lovely leather shoes, I just get them re-soled with a special water-proof cover! ;)

Thanx
FAO Bibbitybob: tweed shorts
NO.5. ask :
FAO Bibbitybob: tweed shorts
Hello!
I remember you asking a while ago about tweed shorts - well, here are the Warehouse pair. They're very short but strangely quite flattering (if the Warehouse mirror is to be believed).
Sorry about the rotten picture - camera is decrepit.
ETA: Damn, picture won't attach.
g_k
Answer:
Sorry.
But what picture?
(sorry know this wasn't for me :o )
Answer:
Baaaah - whenever I try to attach the picture it tells me it's too big and to make it no bigger than 500x0. Which is impossible, surely!
Help!

Answer:
OK, this link should work.
Sorry about all this; I'm supposed to be technically competent :o
