What to wear with tweed shorts?
OK, having bought these shorts in a moment of reckless extravagance yesterday, I'm now wondering how to wear them, at least on the top half (it will be tights and boots/shoes on the bottom half). I'm thinking about lacy/chiffony tops with a tailored waistcoat (and maybe a hat with a floppy brim!), or maybe a jumper with a big belt, but I'm rather lacking in inspiration this morning and can't come up with anything else. And what about coats or jackets? Any suggestions most gratefully received.
It's a crummy photo btw - they're darker and generally much nicer IRL.

the chiffony top/talored waist coat sounds good with a floppy hat. Maybe mix textures, tweed/chiffon/velvet. Nice leather bag to finish.

I love the jumper idea, with tights and some cute boots (maybe the ones in your other thread) Flat cap of course too.
For if it's warmer a couple of strappy cami's layered with beads and some cute heels.

I used to have some similar ones in dark grey and wore them with a thick black polo neck ribbed jumper (it was winter :) ), a silver chain belt, thick black tights and boots.

There's nowhere in the rulebook that you have to state how much you paid for it... and if someone is happy to bid buy for that amount that's their doing.

Don't feel bad about it in the least! You didn't lie about the brand and it's not really any of their business how much it cost! It's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it. Besides they may know what it costs and not care, as they've been looking for it for ages or want to buy a second because it's their favorite piece. There are a few pieces I have that are like that. :)

I do the same thing. :) If something's going really high, I usually wind up double checking that I've got all the auction details right just cause I get nervous that they think they're getting something they're not. :)

My office shoes have finally come and i'm kicking myself for not ordering them in Black/gunmetal :( Not completely sure about these, what do you think?(Please excuse the mark on my foot it's from rubbing flip flops!)
My uggs came and although i'm yet to try them on properly i slipped my foot in and OMG:eek: I can see why they are raved about, so soft and snuggly! I'm going to have the warmest feet in my house this winter :D
And my TIGI Oatmeal cookie bodywash came and it smell divine!

Not fashion but 2 tickets arrived for the (sold out) Little Britain live show for March next year. Got them at a bargain price of e-bay; I'm so excited that I almost slipped it out at the weekend, but they're a surprise for my boyf so I have to keep remembering to bite my tongue :p
