what do you think of this ring?
honest opinons pls
thanx alot
Answer:
Honest opinion? I think its rather garish and quite yellow-y looking, sorry :cmdunno:
however, jewellery is so personal dont you think? I mean, if you really love it i wouldn't worry about other people's opinions.
Is that the front of it, the pointy bit? Looks a bit funny to me, tbh. I love the chunkiness of it, and the 'costume' of it but i'm not really convinced, sorry...
Answer:
Sorry hun, not a fan either, but then im never a fan of gold jewellery really.
Answer:
Sorry, I don't like it either but as PV said, jewellery is a very personal thing so if you like it, get it.
Answer:
Sorry, I don't like it either. :cmdunno: But I don't like gold jewellery and usually prefer 'classic' jewellery. If you like it, go for it. Others don't have to like it. :)
Does anyone else hate using the phone?
NO.2. ask :
Does anyone else hate using the phone?
I really really hate using the telephone :(
I'm fine with family and friends and people I know, but ringing strangers or companies just freaks me out and I have no idea why.
I think I have a good telephone manner and come across as confident, but sometimes I get so nervous I'm shaking :head:
I have to ring a bar in London that we're going to on Saturday night and see if they'll reserve a table for us and I feel sick at the thought of it.
What's wrong with me?!
Answer:
Yes, I'm the same. I get very nervous. Wedding planning has helped though because I've had to just do it. What I normally do is put on an act: pretend I'm one of those uber-confident people who isn't nervous about it, put on my telephone voice etc
Answer:
Oh my god, I'm exactly the same! It can be quite embarassing, especially when I have to ring suppliers at work and they don't have a clue what I'm on about! :o
Answer:
It doesnt bother me, I spend a fair bit of time on the phone to one person or another.
A good tip if you are nervous is to write down everything you want to say and read it like a script.
Answer:
I do, yup. I also hate the noises they make, my own mobile is always on silent.
Ideas for night out in Manchester Please!!
NO.3. ask :
Ideas for night out in Manchester Please!!
Hi Ladies!
I am going out in Manchester on Saturday night and need some ideas on what to wear! I have plenty of clothes so don't really need to buy anything new, but I know that girls get really dressed up to go out up there, so I don't want to look scruffy! I love wearing things like tunics, big belts, skinny jeans, wedges, platforms, leggings etc so just need an idea of how dressed up to get! We will be going to a restaurant and then to some pubs/wine bars..Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D
Answer:
I don't find that girls get as dressed up in Manchester as in Liverpool!
well, obviously, like anywhere, the girls make and effort but I find Manchester to be far more cosmopolitan. Wear whatever you like, yes, there are girls really dressed up, but there are also loads of girls in regular tunics/opaques or jeans etc.
Its not like Liverpool where unless you look like you are taking part in a Brazilian carnival you feel under-dressed!

 that made me spit sandwich out...
very true though - except less feathers
Answer:
Depends where you're going too...as there's quite a few different "scenes" in Manchester. There's Deansgate locks where girls get all dressed/tarted up with mini skirts and strappy tops. Then there's the gay village where it's all glamour and casual mixed. I go there quite often and dress in mini dresses/tunics with leggings, belts etc and skinny jeans, slams and glam tops. The northern quater i'd say is laid back cool, so dreses'tunics with leggings, nice vintage dresses etc. Then there's the studenty area with ppl dressed quite indie/rock and casual. Hoep that helps! Where are you planning on going?
Answer:
Oh, thank you! Thats good to know! I used to love getting really dressed up but now I feel more comfortable still being a bit dressed up but also a bit casual, if that makes sense?!!!
I know what you mean about being dressed up in Liverpool.. I went to the grand National once and I wore jeans and I was VERY out of place - which is an understatement!!! :D I could not get over the way that the women were dressed! :cmeek:
Red interview wear
NO.4. ask :
Red interview wear
I want to wear red to my assessment centre on Weds - its for a sales role so want to look confident and stuff - but can't find anything I really like? Want to wear it with black trousers or black satin skirt and black/wooden wedge heels (those New Look ones!). Has anyone any ideas? Needs to be somewhere I can use my Topshop card as well really :s
Answer:
I would confine the red to accessories. How about a funky red necklace? Im sure theres loads in Topshop at the moment!
Answer:
good idea - i thought about wearing all black (white is a no-no with my boobs and i hate washing whites!), black skirt, maybe bare legs (no tights to break it up) and shirt, shoes etc...and red here would go too - fab idea...
i think a red top would make me stand out tho?
Answer:
Why no white because of your boobies? im a 32E and wear white all the time!
I think a white shirt would look very well. im not too fond of red tops being put with black office attire. I just think it looks a bit odd, but maybe thats just me. I would wear a pair of nylons though, it looks a lot smarter than bare legs
Answer:
i dont own a really comfortable white bra (rarely need to wear!) and think i can see my bra through every white top ive ever owned!

If you see a black in a 12 and wouldn't mind picking one up i'd be extremely grateful - thank you!
Answer:
