Answer:
Hmm, I'm not too sure about this one, it reminds me a bit of a school girl skirt. Sorry. :o
Answer:
Could look good with a shirt, beatnik cap and boots. Just becareful what you team it with as it could look tarty.
Very good for the preppy look :)
Answer:
I think it can look cute when worn properly, ie. as it is a short skirt, wear it with a fitted shirt or round t-shirt (no low necks nor v-necks as ott)...
I am not sure about the material, but if it is warm enough for winter, you could also wear it with dark opaque tights, polo neck and boots...
Otherwise, t-shirt, flip-flops and a little cardie to avoid looking ´cheap´:( :)
Answer:
Its a bit on the short side for the preppy look.
Ive got one similar but bit longer, looks great with flats and shirt under a v-neck
Office shoes sizing?
NO.3. ask :
Office shoes sizing?
1 Attachment(s) I nabbed myself a fantastic bargain last night - this pair of Office peep toe wedges for €25!!
Sadly my toes feel squashed at the top despite the fact that they are a size 6. Are Office small fitting or maybe it's just the style of the shoe causing it...
Answer:
Nice shoes! But i've actaully found Office shoes come up a bit big on me and I'm a size 3 :(
Answer:
I'm a 6.5 and ordered a 6 and if anything they are loose. It's probably the style of shoe :)
Answer:
They do 'fit' - the next size up would be falling off my heel. It's the peeptoe squashing my big neighbour toe together.
Back to the store I'm afraid!
O/T Niger crisis
NO.4. ask :
O/T Niger crisis
I'm sure you've all seen this in the media, but I thought I'd post a link here anyway since this forum is pretty high-traffic; I hope no one minds. With all the money that I've spent on myself recently, the least I can do is donate some to starving children, small as the gesture may be.
g_k
Answer:
I agree. Saw an appeal on tv last night and it was extremely distressing. It just seems so crazy that people can starve to death in a world where some people have so much.
I'm trying to give up smoking at the moment. Managing so far to cut right back and the money I would have spent on ciggies I am donating to this crisis. I see it as trying to help others and myself at the same time - and by donating the money it is making me more determined to not to smoke!

Couldn't agree more - (meaning me not you obviously!)
Bargain alternative to Uggs?
NO.5. ask :
Bargain alternative to Uggs?
I think I've been brainwashed by all the talk of Uggs on this board recently. Any thoughts on these as a bargainous substitute?
I'm going to Denmark / Sweden this November and am thinking WARMTH will be key...
Yes, I know they're not as nice as the real thing but I'm a bit poor at the moment.

Answer:
I think those are lovely, you should go for it! V. bargainous at the price too!
Answer:
I kinda like the brown but defo not the sand. Go for it at that price :)
ETA: Are they furry inside too though?
Answer:
I'm not keen on them, probably because I have a severe ugg dislike!
However, putting my feelings aside, they look really warm and they're a bargain at that price!
Answer:
They look fine, better in brown as CiC says.
And they've very bargainous, you can't go far wrong with suede and faux fur lining for £20.
