Footless tights - size small?
NO.2. ask :
Footless tights - size small?
Has anyone seen any sized (rather than one-size only) footless tights?
I am *desperate* for some and the only ones I have are a pair of topshop's one size only which are too long the waistband comes up to under my boobs ... not a good look, I'm sure you'll agree.
I'll wear this ill-fitting pair if I have to by rolling the waist down etc ... but a shorter/hipster pair would be SOOOO much more comfortable :)
Answer:
I don't have anything to add except I've never seen them in sizes. You might have more luck in the hoisery section of a department store though, or a lingere shop?
Sorry!
Answer:
thank you ... I have tried online at mytights.com, but they are sold out in size s and I need to buy them tomorrow.
I didn't have any luck today, but perhaps I didn't look properly - you know what it's like with these things, the packaging all looks the same and I'm forever buying stockings when I want tights, tights when I want footless ones ... I can be such a hoisery div!
Answer:
Me too - I hate buying hoisery! You could just buy a pair of high denier tights in size small and cut the feet off?
Having never worn them I have no clue if that's doable, so if it's a completely ridiculous suggestion, I'll apologise in advance
Answer:
Are these any good?

Rings for men!
NO.3. ask :
Rings for men!
Help please!!
I want to buy my boyfriend a ring for his birthday - does anyone know of any websites that I could have a look at for ideas or to buy from?
I was thinking of a white gold or platinum band with some detail. Any views/opinions would be good too!
Thanks in advance for any help

Answer:
If you are anywhere near Birmingham i would suggest going to the Jewellery Quarter. You get things a lot cheaper, high street jewellers tend to be a rip off and use lower quality stones etc.
If not the only place i can think of is
www.ernestjones.co.uk

Ive officially bycotted that place, ive experienced terrible service from that place! Hope that helps.
Answer:
I love the Jewellery quarter, i got all my fine jewellery from there including my engagement and eternity ring.
My engagement ring is valued at £1000 more than my OH paid for it:eek:
Answer:
Thanks a lot for your tips but I am in London!
I was hoping for something a bit more 'different' that the high street stores to be honest.
I will keep trawling the net!!!
Primarks return policy
NO.4. ask :
Primarks return policy
I'm sure I saw this on a thread a while ago, but I cannot find it? I bought two skirts the same but differant colours. One fits great and I wrongly thought the other one would to. I cut the tags of the both. Tried the other on today and its not the same fit? Do I have any rights to return, I do have the receipt.
Answer:
I don't know about any 'right' to return, but I've always found Primark to be very amenable in the returns department.
I'm sure if you explain the situation they'll be fine about it.

Thanks Buttonus, I'll have ago.
Answer:
I shouldn't think you'll have a problem as the only thing they won't exchange is underwear - which seemed to annoy a lady recently.
The woman at the cust serv desk was being very nice but this woman was fuming (maybe she'd had a little drinkie). She swore and ranted at the poor woman, went away, came back, threw the underwear in her face ( we must be talking all of £5 here) stormed off out of the shop, on the way picking up everything within reach, bracelets, scarves etc and stuffing them into her bag.
Sorry, was o/t, but your post just reminded me.

Blimey! I haven't found Primark staff to be the most amenable people in the world but no one deserves to be treated like that.
Opinions on boots please!
NO.5. ask :
Opinions on boots please!
Hi,
Can I ask your opinion on these boots please?
Thanks girls!
xxx
Answer:
Ok, I will be honest as always and do not be offended: they are nice if you are tall and thin but they do remind me of that cat in the boots thing (cant remember what you call it in english! sorry! ) or Robin Hood???
Maybe the flaps are too big or something....
Saying that (I am so indecisive!), they could also be quite funky if worn properly with drainpipes....
Answer:
I can't quite see from the pic - do they have a kitten heel or something more substantial? If it's a kitten heel then I'm not keen, sorry.
I also think you'd need to be tall and slim, and confident, to carry off those boots. And yes, they do look very puss-in-boot-ish because the flaps are so large!
Having said all that, if you've got the attitude to wear them, they could look really good with Miss Sofia's drainpipe suggestion and something like a slouchy stripy jumper or a waistcoat and chiffony top.
g_k
Answer:
Gotta say I'm not that keen, sorry :( I think it's the heel, the pointed toe and the rather large turnover.
Answer:
The turnover on them is huge! Reminds me of the Puss in Boots in Shrek - sorry!
I'm sure you can find some nice ones somewhere :)
