Colours for A/W?
So what are the main colours for this A/W??
I've been perusing the shops a bit the last couple of weeks (nothing new there then  ) and there seems to be a real mix of everything.
Which is lovely in the respect of, anything goes, but I just wondered if there were the usual "seasonal colours" that we normally have every year??
Personally I think I'm too old and ugly to stick to "in vogue" colours so have already decided that I'll be doing
brown
camel
greens - ALL shades of - my new fave fave colour and I LOVE mixing different shades of green!!
orange (this has been a big fave of mine for the last couple of years!!)
Teal - will only be getting a couple of things - already have a teal skirt and a teal Donna Karen twinset that I have had for SIX years and never worn :o
What about everyone else??
What's in vogue that I'm missing out on!!

Answer:
BLACK!!!!!
Black is back, baby!
Answer:
I'm with you Katkinn, my fave colours (all year round though!) are green, brown and orange and of course black is the new black which I love so that'll me be this Winter.
Answer:
Yep! black black black!
am planning on a rather black a/w, with slate/charcoal greys, and silver.
my black uggs arrived yday too!
Answer:
Grey, monochrome black and white and yep, plain black, are very big this year. Plus the usual autumnal jewel colours, especially in velvet. But apart from that, I think there's been a bit less emphasis on colour this year, and more on shapes, silhouettes, textures and creating contrasts with fabrics - witness the Russian theme, sweeping military long coats, sharp skirt suits, Victoriana and lace, tweed and velvet all over the catwalks.

Style advice
I post quite a bit about acccessories and stuff but really I need help with clothese and stuff 2to make the most of myself" basically I have not bought many new clothes this year and I want to give my wardrobe and myself a bit of an overhaul.
My style wishes are:,
1. t shirts that my boobs look good in.
2. trousers that are flattering and slimming (I love cords)
3. Cardigans that are flatteing to my boobs and make me look nice rather than frumpy.
4. Possibly some shirtys.
5. Comfy but smart shoes and boots.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Answer:
roughly what size/height/shape are you? are you top heavy or a pear person, as this might help us a bit:o
Answer:
It's hard to say without knowing more about your figure, but you need good underwear too (in addition to t-shirts!)
At the end of the day, trying on lots of different things and having a honest friend critique outfits (if you can't be objective yourself) is quite useful!
Answer:
boobs are a d size. May be a pera shape then again I think I may be more hourglass, ie boobs and bum about the same and have a waist.

sounds like a good hourglass figure to me. I am a d-cup too. first and most important thing is to get a really good bra. will make all of your clothes hang soo much better. don't wear polonecks or baggy /loose t-shirts or tops as you'll end up wilth a monoboob and your waist will dissappear. stick to fitted v necks.
a-line skirts and flared/bootleg trousers are good too. for cardigans go for a ballerina wrap style or a very short shrug.
think marylin monroe /50's pin-up and you can't go wrong:yay:

Answer:
Good = find what I am looking for and being able to afford it.
Bad= going specially to a shop/location and being geared up to spend money and finding everything a bit of a dissapointment which often means I get something just so that I feel like the travel time and expense has not been wasted
Answer:
Good...
- My clothes being easily take off-able for trying on items
- Finding a few things that i fall in love with
- Shopping with my OH for his opinion but also having some time apart to properly mooch.
Bad....
- Spending hours looking for something with no joy
- Realising the 4 inch boots you decided to wear weren't a good idea when walking around for hours:o

champagne satin clutch bag
I know im probably being a pain but finally found some gorgeous champagne colour shoes to go with my dress and now im completely stuck on a bag ... last night I actually began to hate shopping - luckily it only last a few seconds!!
has anyone seen one around? - tried accessorize, ravel, dune (did have one but too big), next.
Answer:
Have you tried Clarks?? maybe not the first place you would think of but I am sure they had some.
Answer:
have tried in there as I have got a green satin one just in case I cant find a matching bag for my shoes. It does go lovely ith the dress but I think it would look better with matching shoes and bags.
such a pain!!
What are these jeans? (pink flowery label)
NO.5. ask :
What are these jeans? (pink flowery label)
I have seen lots of girls wearing these jeans....the ones i have seen are generally quite baggy, cargo type shape.
They have a pink silky label on the back right hand side, with dark pink flowers embroidered on it? I can't see what the brand name is, does anyone know?
sorry for the cra p description!!!
cheers!
Answer:
Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but is it Animal? It's a surfy label like Roxy and they normally have pink flowers on the back of their pants and jeans. It's on the waistband for most of the jeans I have from them though.
Answer:
Could also be "Replay"..
I tried on some white jeans type, very very low cut wide legged, with a pink/red flower on the back pocket.
They were £79 before now reduced to £30...
I didn't buy them, but now thinking I should have perhaps... :meh:
Answer:
I'm almost certain it's Replay. I've got a pair though the label on mine is orange.
Answer:
My immediate reaction was Animal or Roxy... I could be wrong though... plus I haven't seen any Replay jeans before so wouldn't know about them.
soz that's not much help.
