Anyone here got a YSL mombasa with horn handle?
Mine closes with a zip and every other single Mombasa I've seen has a clasp close - now for the first time I'm wondering if mine is real.....................i bought it in January from eBay, seller had 100% feedback and didn't sell lots of designer items so was happy and confident mine was kosher. It came with tag and a serial number and dust bag.
Why am I stressing now? The only other things I'm wondering about is because again, with every other Mombasa i've seen the extra shoulder strap is fastened away under the bag and mine is free to use.
Am i worrying over nothing???

Yes, I've got one with a horn handle. It's definitely genuine as I bought it in a YSL boutique myself.
I've never looked for any serial numbers. Where are they, in the bag or on a card?
I've got a blurry photo on this PC that you can just about make out the details from (the horn handled one is the brown one - this was before my cat peed on it!) ...
*eta* forgot to add - they all close with magnetic clasps but maybe they've changed that? Mine are about 3 years old.

In case anyone is interested to know Solo and Electron debit cards are now accepted at Primark stores.
I saw a sign at the Customer Services desk in Bexleyheath today and sure enough paid with my Electron card for my purchases!
No more stashing my basket and running to the cashpoint for me! :yay:

I'm surprised they didn't have the common sense to do this from day 1. Taking into consideration who their main customer base is, low income families, the unemployed, etc many don't have visa/switch cards and often paid in cash anyway cos their electron and Solos were not accepted.

But yes, I agree that as a retailer (regardless of who their main customer base is) they should've had the sense to accept all major credit and debit cards.
