Dissapointing day at the sales
Can't believe how much better the online sales are this year!
Went to stirling today and cudn't find a single sale item that I liked, all I came away with was a silver headband, a gold headband and some gloves which were all full price! Came away very dissapointed.
Anyone else finding that the sales are going downhill?

Well I'm just the opposite lol. I'm a sales cynic - I can't stand them! Its just all the crap they couldn't shift during the last sale at an even cheaper price.
BUT!!!
I was a rather happy bunny today as I was having a little glance through the sales racks in WestWorld and came across a top i was going to buy a couple of weeks ago down to £7.50 from £30! To make me even smilier it was the only one left AND it was in my size :yay:

Was DELIGHTED to pick these up on a last chance entrance to Faith, wasn't going to bother as I'm not much of a shoe person, but saw these gems which I was going to happily pay full price for.
Reduced from £35, to £20. The only pair left in the whole shop, and happened to be in my size 5 :)

Also I feel that it is demeaning to the assistants to wear those uniforms that make them look like hookers. :D

Dunno about the uniforms as have never been in the actual shop but there is a corset I would love on their site which isnt slutty :)

I recently ordered some beautiful jewellery online and it arrived just before Christmas -- and this morning received the same order again! I feel very guilty even though the service was diabolical the first time (very late delivery). At first I was going to buy elsewhere since it had been reduced (it was part of spring's collection) but was out of stock. Emailed them about why they're charging autumn/winter prices for old stock but no response.
I am wondering about what I should do. I've not got in touch with them yet, I wouldn't know what to say!

Don't contact them again. If they don't get in touch within the next 3 weeks, exhale and lock it in your jewellery box!

ETA the last time this happened to me and I pointed it out to them they were very rude and wanted to make me pay the postage to return the second delivery so I decided never again will I play the good samaritan.

The Distance Selling Regulations now say that you can treat these goods as an 'unconditional gift', in other words, you can keep them or give them away, sell them or use them or destroy them, and the trader cannot expect you to have to pay for them.
Think yours would countas unsolicited that you hadnt ordered as you had already received the original order

Forgive me for I haven't been around for a while haven't been doing much shopping...
I went on the net earlier to check my emails... I got one from miss selfridge about their on-line sale... before I knew it I was putting a pair of boots skirt into my cyber basket.
Then went onto the TS website where I finally found they had B Maternity bump bands in black, back in stock.
Went to the checkout... it asked me for a discount code... the only place I knew that would have them was this forum!!!
