Chloe Over Knee Boots
Has anybody seen the Chloe Over Knee Boots on page 143 of January's Marie Claire?
I don't have a scanner so can't post a pic, but they are grey/brown with corset style lacing above the knee.
Does anybody know of a slightly more affordable version? I NEED these boots!

I bought a top from Topshop for £30, about 2 weeks ago now. Anyway, I decided I didn't like it and decided to get a refund.
Anyway, yesterday, they told me that I couldn't get my full £30 back for it, and they would only give me £15 because that item was now in the sales!
I was very annoyed that I couldn't get the full value back for it, and ended up taking the top back home with me! Is there anyway I can get my full £30 back?

did you have the receipt? they have to give you what you paid for it if you do, but if you can't prove it there probably isn't a way of convincing them that you did pay full price.

Yeah, I did have the reciept with me - I guess I should have argued with them, but I was a bit stumped for words at the time, and hate causing a scene - silly me :rolleyes:

Buuuuut my friend was shopping in Croydon yesterday and rang me saying that she'd asked cashiers in BOTH DP and Debenhams what their refund policy was as she was about to buy a load of stuff and couldn't be bothered to try it on and they said that if it's a sale item and it's HALF PRICE in the sales, then they WON'T give refunds :confused:
I was 'eh?' that can't be right cos they have to refund what you paid so long as you have the receipt but my friend was adamant that's what their 'sale refund policies' were as she tried to argue it at the till and ended up leaving everything behind cos she got in such a huff :meh:

If you had your receipt, there isn't really any reason why they shouldn't have given you a full refund... I would try again or if possible go to another store.
You have the standard 28 days, but read the back of the receipt just in case as you can never be too sure if or when certain shops change their policies. I'm pretty sure TS hasn't though.

Sorry, don't mean to spam, but had to rant somewhere, and know you will understand :)
I went into Faith yesterday to buy my first pair of shoes for ages, and had actually chosen some cute but sensible ones I could wear for work (very unlike me, but good). It fit perfect, was really comfy, and looked very cute on. I take the shoe that was out to a girl who looks like she works there but is so busy gabbing to someone else I can't tell if she's actually shopping or not. So I ask her if she works there, realise she does, and she looks at me like I'm a complete dunce. So I ask if I can get the pair to the shoe, she goes off to get it. I wait about 5 minutes, nowt yet. Wait another few minutes, she comes out and says I'll have to wait a bit longer. So I wait some more, then she comes out around 10 minutes later and tells me they can't find the other one to it, it must just be an odd shoe :confused: so then she walks off. Except she doesn't take the shoe from me so someone else doesn't ask for the other one, just leaves me to put it back on the shelf. I get more and more put off that shop every time I try and buy shoes from them. How come you can't order online any more either ?

Faith can be a bit useless. I wanted to try some sandals in there once so asked for the other shoe. They were looking for ages and it turned out that someone else was trying on the other shoe to the pair so they must have put them both out on the shopfloor. Needless to say we both wanted them and they were the last pair of that size in the shop. In the end they said I could have them because I had the left one :confused: - go figure!

WoooW!! Free things! And yes, how comes you can't order online anymore. I can't be doing with Faith sales, so many nutty women. I once had a pair of shoes in my hand that I'd tried on, got the other shoe to and was wandering around looking for another pair and some woman came up to me and asked if I was sure I wanted them?! Of course I said yes but she continued to follow me...wait for it...and grabbed them out of my hand and dashed to the till!!
