sorta O/T - ebay paypal help!
Hi,
Hoping one of you lovely e-bayers can help! I've accidentally refused a paypal payment, clicked on the wrong button - doh! Is there any way to get it back, or do I just have to email the buyer and apologise and ask him to send it again? And will he be able to tell it's been refused? I'm worried he might think I'm ripping him off asking for more money!
Answer:
I've never had to refuse or accept, it always just turns up in my acc  *runs off to check Paypal acc, really worried she's doing something wrong*
Answer:
Lol, dont worry Arietty - it gave me a choice because it was a credit/debit card payment and I only have a personal account (you have to upgrade to accept them apparently). You aren't doing anything wrong!
Anyone got any ideas?
Answer:
You will have to get them to resend it :)
Answer:
cheers CiC :) Just hope they don't think I'm up to anything dodgy now! They should be able to see that the original was cancelled shouldn't they, so they know I haven't taken it.
Fingers crossed, its a ticket for a concert taking place on Saturday so it's really important that I recieve payment ASAP so I can send the ticket on time!

    Urban Outfitters sale?
Is it any good? I'm trying to decide wether or not to hit the sales in Manchester tomorrow, and that would probably be my deciding factor!!
    Answer:
I was in there yesterday (and totally fell in love :heartpop: I love shops full of useless but pretty crap :D) and the sales section wasn't overly impressive. Not that I was looking at clothes, I was distracted by Mr T in your pocket, but hey... :o
    Answer:
I had a look in Covent Garden - it's not so good but there are things to buy. Also, all the stuff that was on sale before the sales started has not been reduced any further.
I'm going to wait a couple of weeks and go back.
    Answer:
It's not amazingly good, there's a few nice bits.
There's a beautiful blue printed dress in there with 3/4 length sleeves - it looks like one from the 40's. But it's £45.00.
    Answer:
I'm going to there next week.

Did your fitness video come? The one from the 'Call on me' video?
I'm thinking of resolutions and shifting some of this blubber is one of them :D
Would you recommend it or is it rubbish and just for guys to watch :D
    Ta chick!
    Answer:
Hi Cat!!! Just seen this! Never been so excited in my whole life LOL ;) :p !
It did come indeed! It is very good but I never realised I was so unco-ordinated! :p I do find some of the moves a little tricky to pick up and end up jumping around like a loony doing my own thing most of the time.
I have the Davina Mccall Power of 3 DVD too and it is MUCH better. 2 personal trainers take you through and you do lots of toning exercizes on the legs bum, torso and arms and inbetween you do a minutes cardio to keep your heart rate up so you are burning fat anf toning up. I find it works you so much harder than the pump it up (need LOTS of water!) but you don't feel anymore tired thatn the other DVD. I really ache for a few days after but that shows its working!
I really do prefer the Davina Video it is a much better workout in my opinion and I think the results will be quicker and better with it because it provides toning exercizes, and I think it is more thought through where it is done by professional trainers.
    Hope that helps!!!
    Happy new year chick!
    Answer:
Happy new year sweetie! Thanks for the reply!
I liked the look of the ministry one because it looked exciting, i get bored very quickly with exercise (with 90% of the population there then!:p ).
Does the Davina one keep you interested? I quite like the look of tae bo dvd too...hmmm:think:
I'm determined to give healthy eating and exercise a go this year. I cut out wheat for 10 months (although i've broken wheat free over xmas:o ) so i've proved to myself i can have the willpower if i try enough :)
    Answer:
Sorry being nosy and reading your thread girls:o :p
I have the Davina Power Of 3 DVD too and I would recommend it:)
    Answer:
Helloooo again! I find it does keep me interested, but what I do to vary it is I will alternate the Davina and the Pump it up, and after doing the Davina one the Pump it Up is like a rest LOL!
I actually find I lose more interest in the pump it up becasue I find it hard to get the hang of the moves and do it to the rhythm and thats only on the easy work out, not the high energy one! Whereas the davina one is well explained and the moves are simple to pick up, plus if you are struggling you have the option to follow the female nstructer who does slightly easier moves, and then you can build up your fitness and do the full ones eventually. Sorry if that makes no sence, im half asleep here ;)

    1 Attachment(s) hey girls.
my sis has just come round with her new 'uggs' on. straight away i said i think they're a bit dodge babe, that's not the 'proper' ugg label
Am i right, or do Uggs use another label that i've not seen before?
There is no 'ugg' branding on the sole, which makes me suspicious too, and they didnt come in an Ugg box; they just came in bubble wrap.
The seller said the usual spiel, genuine, authentic, 100 sheepskin...i'm just not convinced :( They cost £60, which makes me even more suspicious...
here's a few pics, what do you reckon
    ta PVx
eta: i'm also not convinced by the stitch/detail at the toe.
    Answer:
    1 Attachment(s) label
    Answer:
Hi PV, happy new year luv!
They are real Uggs, just not the ones sold here. They are the ones that are made by Dexters (which all UGGs are made by) but they are made for China etc,not UK. They are the same as the ones that are sold on the UggStore. They are real, have the same sheepskin and suede etc etc. I had a pair but they were too small for me so sold them on ebay. They just have a different label and come up different in the leg.

    Answer:
Brian Smith created the Ugg brand ugg, importing them to the US in the late seventies. He sold the company to Deckers Outdoors in 1985, the same year they applied for the trademark. They have been successful suing other ugg importers, most notably Koolaburra, the largest US importer of ugg boots still made in Australia. Deckers' Ugg Australia, Emu, Old Friend, and Aussie Dogs are all made in China (a few models may still be made in New Zealand). Unfortunately, that means plenty of authentic ugg boots cannot be so named by US retailers.
Australian ugg boots are made in Australia whilst the UGG Australia ugg boots are made for American giant Deckers mostly in the Far East such as China and Macau.

    NO.5. ask :
Is it legal to take photos of things in shops?
I know that guards often stop you and say you are not allowed but for example the Topshop hold service says to sms a photo of the item you have seen to them so that they can hold and/or deliver it for you.
    Answer:
Well if they (TS) ask for a pic, just do it and tell the SA's/security why you're doing it, if you're asked.
Shops don't like people doing it cos competitors steal stock ideas that way.
    Answer:
Heavens:o I took a photo recently of a shirt to send to my son asking him if he'd like me to get for him in the sale. Never occurred to me I might be doing something wrong.:o
    Answer:
    Stop panicking!
I wouldn't say it's illegal as such (I think we'd all know if it were!). Retailers just don't like you doing it for the reason I specified above.
    Answer:
I was quite surprised recently when I was in a shop with my mum, and I spotted a pair of shoes that I thought would match a friend's outfit for a wedding. I was trying to take a sneaky pic and was mortified when the sales assistant approached me, positive I was about to get ticked off.
Anyways she only came over to suggest I took them over to the window to take the picture in a better light?!
Definitely the only time I have ever come across such helpfulness of that manner!! :p
