Knitting.... No, seriously!
Afternoon ladies,
Ok, so I've just been watching sex and the city, and in one episode, Carrie's wearing a gorgeous pink and cream long, hooded scarf. Did a search on ebay and found nothing but got to thinking.... How hard is it to knit your own?
My nan used to knit when I was little and I have to admit it's not a pastime I'd thought about taking up... 'til now!
So do any other baggers knit? Is it difficult? Any help much appriciated !
Answer:
Have you looked in the hobbies section?? Loads of knitting baggers in there with patterns and advice
Answer:
That's a great idea Lalasa! I'd do it if I were you. Have recently joined a club in a late night ice-cream parlour near me doing cross stitch. It's inspired by this
Wow Hack, really helpful post there... But if you ever wanted to 'progress' in the hobby of haberdashery...
Answer:
I saw a scarf with a hood but can i remember where? No! I'll let you know if i remember.
I know you want to knit one but still :o
Answer:
I love knitting! (Although I am pretty bad still)
The site that has helped me the most is this one . It has good video demonstrations and clear instructions.
As for finding a pattern for the hooded scarf, you could try googling it - that is how I find most of my patterns.
HTH!

So what will we all be wearing in the Sping then?!
Well having been out shopping today and discovered that the majority of the sales are a load of tat (apart from Reiss ;) ) I've just realised that I have no idea what is going to be in this Spring.
Suggestions please ladies!!
Care to share your thoughts on your forthcoming Spring purchases?!

Answer:
I've been thinking about this today actually....
Probably Indigo skinny jeans to wear with heels and floaty chiffony tops.
That's about as far as i've got:o I think my colours will be pretty similar to last year, thinking of:
*Creams
*Indigo denim
*Browns
*Tan
*Teals
Also going to invest in some bootcut jeans to wear with low sandals and probably some floaty tunics thrown in too.
Oh and big sunglasses :D
Next have their spring/summer stuff online now which is good for inspiration.
Answer:
I read that tea dresses are going to be popular!
Answer:
Pardon my ignorance, but, what kind of dress is a "tea" dress? :)
Answer:
Polka dots, empire lines, white, feminine elegance,....
Have a lookie here: http://www.vogue.co.uk/Vogue_Daily/S...asp?stid=29650
Major trends? More shorts – more tailored and higher waisted than this summer, trousers held up with ribbons and white, white, white. There was a smattering of bikeshed-smoking cool schoolgirls (see Martin Grant, again, and Balenciaga), while tired skirts, metallics and washed-out fabrics (see Prada and Paul Smith), will all be safe buys for summer.
trouble finding bras.
NO.4. ask :
trouble finding bras.
Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone else is the same bra size as me (30D), and if so, where do you buy you're bra's from?? I have such difficulty, and I'm just fed up of having to resort to buying ones with a 32" back, and as a result, don't fit properly.
Thanks in advance!
x ohara
Answer:
I can't really suggest anywhere, but wanted you to know that I feel your pain - I lost weight and went from 34C to 32D and suddenly can't find bras on the highstreet anymore - even in MS's sale this year there was hardly anything!
Maybe try figleaves though, although they might be a bit pricey. There are a couple of other websites for smaller cups, but I don't know about smaller backs - can't remember what they're called, but sure somebody will know.
Where do you get your 32Ds by the way?!
Answer:
Debenhams have a good range of basic t-shirt bras in 32Ds, and not usually too expensive either.
The trouble is, I have to be able to try them on to check the fit is right etc, which is why I'm not too keen on ordering from figleaves :(
you're right though - MS is cr*p! Half the time I end up just wearing lycra vests because I find these so much more comfortable than ill-fitting bras, plus I don't really need them yet for support, but it would still be nice to have some bras which actually fit!!
Answer:
I think Figleaves is only £2 postage and free returns, which isn't too bad, but it'll still be a pain having to return the stuff that doesn't fit!
Answer:
ohara have you tried bravissimo? you probably have but thought I would mention it just incase
Leopard print belt?
NO.5. ask :
Leopard print belt?
I just missed out on a vintage leopard print belt on ebay (well, I forgot about it and now it's finished :( ).
Just wondering if anyone knows where I could find one pretty cheaply? i.e. under a tenner.
Thanks!
Answer:
I think LizzieB has one from Accessorise, but I don't know when she bought it...
If you do find one, I'd love to know where you got it, because I've been looking for one for ages :)
No help at all, sorry!
