red suede boots
Bastard Timpsons have ruined my red suede boots (not content with dripping black gloopy stuff all over them, he's totally split the sole on one and my normal cobbler says it is irretrievable:( he covered the black stuff with his hands when he passed them back to me so I didn't notice and the split thing just happened after two wears of the new heels. Normal cobbler says it is because of the way the sole was butchered)
I've seen one pair of red boots this week but not in suede - and I'm really sad in case i've missed all that kind of footwear as I think we're aboiut see sandals in the shops.So - I've looked at obvious websites like vivaladiva and have popped into the odd shop and have tried a search on here but wondered whether any of you kind peeps could assist?
Have any of you seen something that might fit the bill - mine were ankle length pointed toe ones with a kitten heel from Boden a couple of years back - i would prefer ankle length ones again as I find full length boots always feel funny under trousers.
Can any of you stop me being so sad?

Have to agree with PV (as I own them :o :D ) they are gorge and really nice squishy leather. They brighten up any outfit, although I would put some kind of protective spray on them because the soft leather makes them quite delicate and they will tear quite easily. Can't say I've seen any other red boots around :(

OMG how awful!!! Is there anything you can o to get some kind of compensation from them? How dare they ruin other peoples property when you have trusted them to take care of them! And how dishonest for them not to own up! I would be flipping crazy with rage at them! I hope you manage to find something which you can wear as much as them hun.

My boyfriend has just bought this camera and we have been playing with it over the holidays.
The screen on the back is really big which is good for showing pics and getting a better look before you download to your puter.
It's pretty easy to use once you have scanned the manual.
The only major problem with it seems to be that it keeps getting camera shake so the pictures come out slightly blurry. We had to play about with the settings quite a lot to overcome this when not using a tripod.
The 3x optical zoom is't the best for taking pictures of small things a long way from you (obviously) but the number of pixels mean you can do a bit of digital zooming. Personally I think I'd want a bit better zoom for detailed landscape/outdoor/wildlife shots.
If your major use is going to be photographing clothes I'd get a little bendy tripod and this camera will do the job well.

I absolutely love my Minolta one but I got it a couple of years ago so there's probably better stuff out there now.
As it's 5 megapixels you'll probably need to purchase extra memory as you get such a puny amount when you buy it.

I saw a really lovely t-shirt in Reiss today but it was nearly £50 in the sale :eek: (only had about a fiver off it :rolleyes: Although the skirt I got was £28.50 reduced from £110 :eek: :yay: )
It was a sort of jersey/t-shirt material which said it was 100% tencel. And that it was dry clean only!
It was a really really top but it was a fecking T-SHIRT and there is no way on earth I am going to spend £50 on a t-shirt that you can only dry clean. I did ask the lady if you could handwash it and she said no, it had to be dry clean only. :mad:
Has anyone had a top in this material and can you actually wash it?? (or will it end up small enough to fit my one year old daughter :rolleyes: )
