Ebay - Authentic / Genuine
Hello,
Daft ebay question I'm afraid.
I just won a Juicy Couture tracksuit. I am presuming it's fake as it only cost me £29 for both bits. It's listed as Authentic, but I noticed that some of her other items that seem more likely to not be fake are listed as Genuine.
I just wondered if there was a chance I may be pleasantly suprised when it arrives or if the description gives it away.

You may be surprised Mimi, some of the wholesale prices for these items are daft which is why sellers on ebay can do this (I know cos I do it myself with some things!) However there does seem to be a lot of fake JC around and I do think £29 is perhaps a bit too cheap but :fingers:

Will do - when I wasn't working I lived in my real ones, but wouldn't pay full price now for authentic as I wear them for comfort rather than as a fashion thing ifkwim!!

Did I just catch onto this late or something? I had no idea they've now introduced (or re-introduced?) a £2 delivery charge :( I know it's not bad if you've ordered a lot but I think I'm less likely to impulse buy, especially for cheap sale items. And the free delivery was one of the reasons I preferred Figleaves to most other online places.

Black black Earl skinny jeans but what heels can I/should I wear with them? (and can I - or at 32 am I too old and will I look like mutton?:o ) I am tall - 5ft 10 and a size 8 to 10 if that makes any difference and the jeans are definitely long enough.
I was thinking about brushed gold and bronze pointy stilleto slingbacks (and on top will wear gold plaited thin belt, and gold mesh wrapover top with little black vest underneath) BIG gold earings.
OR I have black stilleto (patent heeled) satin round toed ballet shoes (Kurt Geiger a couple of years ago) But would they be a total no no. :confused: (probably wear other top if to go for this option)

Another vote for the KG shoes - I love skinnies with round-toed heels.
I personally don't really like (high) pointy heels with skinnies for some reason, probably because someone I disliked wore that combo! Although yours do sound rather nice :D But my vote definitely for the round-toed ones; they sound gorgeous.

At 5 foot 10 you don't need much of a heel unless you want to. New Look have ballet pumps with a kitten heel at the mo that are really nice.
I agree with the others - round toe will look better than pointy with skinny jeans.

I don't like skinnies with pointy heels either (gives me flashbacks to the 80's) your black round toes ones sound perfect, I like to wear mine with peep toe shoes.

Hello! As my shoe collection is growing (rapidly:o ) I am running out of space! I really want to be able to display my shoes as I adore having them on show and looking at them, but I also want toprotect them as I am forever spilling things.

I found these which would be perfect only they are incredibly expensive and would need to spend nearly a £100!!! And I have measured my shoes and most of them wouldnt actually fit in the boxes! Even the special high heel ones!:(
So has any one got any idea for another way I could possibly store my shoes. At the moment they are covering my shelves and are on top of storage boxes on the floor and i have no more room, and 4 new pairs on the way! :cool: :eek: ;)

Thanks for the suggestions ladies! :) Unfortunatly my room is tiny at the mo and there isnt any floor or wall space! Loveing those wall squares they would look so funky! When I get my own space (eventually!) it will be the house of shoes LOL ;)
