o/t how do I attach a pic?
I;ve only ever used photobucket for photos - how do I attach a picture so it actually comes up on the post? cheers!
Answer:
Well you can upload to photobucket like you do and insert the picture's url into the box that appears when you click on the 'IMG' button (above the posting box)
Or if it's small enough and the pic is on your computer just click the 'browse' button below the posting box when replying/starting a thread and find the picture you want. Then submit :)
Answer:
Where your pic appears in photobucket there willl be an image tag at the bottom (it's the link with IMG at each end). If you copy this and paste it as the link in a post it will come up as the actual pic once you have submitted your post :)
ETA: Crossed post with CiC.
Answer:
thank you!
Answer:
In photobucket, under each picture there's an IMG bit. Just copy what's in that box and paste it into your post. It'll show up. This way you can post more than one picture per post.
My Doll's shoes
NO.2. ask :
My Doll's shoes
I really want some shoes similar to the ones my doll wears.
Has anyone seen any midnight blue heels, pref with round toes and I'm not overly keen on points. I can't seem to spot any which is suprising. Thanks :)
Answer:
Not quite midnight blue, but still a nice dark colour, I've got these from Faith which I completely love:
They're much more dainty in real life.
xx
Answer:
Hmm, this is so fun and it's my first time!" :p
These are nice but they're in pale blue, not midnight:

£40 from accessorize, you can buy 'em online
I'm kinda new to this so I don't really know where else to look
ETA I found some lovely ones on the TS website under 'shoes', actually there are tonnes, but some to note are:
Mary Jane Block Heel Shoes, £60, navy
Answer:
Not exactly like you doll's shoes but Katie99 posted these on the shoe thread. She said she got them just before xmas in the sale for £7 so may be worth looking out :)

Yep, they're really comfy, although they're peep-toe so maybe not what you're after ;)
Wearing scarves as headbands
NO.3. ask :
Wearing scarves as headbands
Does anyone else have the problem of scarves worn in your hair falling out? If I tie them too tight they slip up to my crown, and too loose they just don't hold my hair.
Am I doing something worng, or can anyone give me some top tips for wearing them?
Thanks :)
Answer:
I just tie mine tightly upon my head. Don't do it at the crown of your head, position the scarf a couple of inches away and it should fall into the right position.
Answer:
I've tried right at my hairline and further back and they slip out regardless. Plus they come loose far too easily wth my natural head movements
Maybe it's just not destined to be for me!
Answer:
Is the scarf really long?
I fold mine over so it's thicker as mines long enough to do this, i find then that it doesn't slip so easily and stays in place.
Answer:
How about some little clips tucked descretely behind the hair by ear to keep it in place?
I do that, and it works quite well.:)
For the girls with LUSH bags ..
NO.4. ask :
For the girls with LUSH bags ..
Hello
I am contemplating getting a LUSH Paddington Vanilla Milk bag, but I am wondering how big this is?
I ideally want a BIG bag, think LARGE SPY bag size, but have a feeling the paddington is nowhere near that big?!
What I'd really like is if someone has a picture of themselves with the bag, so I can see how big it is on a person..
I beg you lot plllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaasssssssseee :D:D
Answer:
Hey

The red Chloe one is lubly isn't it?
I wouldn't order from Lush, but from E-bay, there are some good sellers on there.
P+P is around £5-8..
I can't find a Lush paddington in red though :(
But cream would do nicely too :D

Great bags :great:
knee boots - advice/opinons needed pls!
NO.5. ask :
knee boots - advice/opinons needed pls!
hello, i need opinions please!
I bought these suede boots on sale the other day:
I really love the style, they're really soft and so comfy to walk in, but...
I'm worried that they're too long - I'm only 5'2" and they come right up to just below my knee, whereas on most people they would be an inch or two lower. I can still bend my knee and walk fine, but I am wondering whether they cut my legs in half and make them look even shorter. I have another pair of boots that i bought in the sales, which are shorter, also brown suede but not half as nice a style (but a lot cheaper!).
I would be wearing them with skirts as I've got chunky thighs so I can't do the whole skinny jeans tucked into boots thing. Would be very grateful on any opinions as to whether they are just too long for me! I've got some pics of me wearing each of the pairs with skirt different lengths.
ok here goes....
longer boots, mid-length skirt:
shorter boots, mid-length skirt: (sorry, bad angle photo)
one of each (!)
Then again with the skirt above-knee:
Longer :
Shorter:
one of each:
Am having a bit of a dilemma as i really really like them but on the other hand i don't want to look silly. Argghhh... i HATE being short!!!
anyway....what do you think
thanx
:)
ps sorry for the long post, i haven't got the hang of putting piccies in yet!
Answer:
Great boots...
I think they look fine on you.
Answer:
Oooh, it is a hard one, but i think they both look fine. Some people say there should be a gap between boots and skirt, others say there should be no gap. Personally, i'd go for the comfiest, otherwise you might not get much wear out of them anyway.
Answer:
I think they look great on you. :)
Answer:
i loved the longer ones with the longer skirt and shorter ones with shorter skirt. so i think they would be fine really! i'm 5 foot 2 and certainly wouldn't let it stop me!
