Hi honey - was it you who wanted to know if it was possible to turn bootcut trews and jeans into straight legs? (I can't find the thread)...
Anyhoo just to let you know it is. I have just spoken to my lovely sewing lady and she said it's very easy to do so I am going armed with all my jeans on Monday.
I am so over bootcuts, after wearing skinnies they just look wrong, I'm just going to get her to make everything into straight leg so if you find a sewing person they should be able to do it for you no problemo. xx

I was ill Xmas week and spent most of it tucked up in bed watching telly.
I missed most of the sales.

I made it to Leeds.

I was at the Harvey Nicks sale when it opened and did not buy anything.

I got some trousers in Leeds.
I did not panic but or buy simply for buyings sake.
I got the Anya Hindmarch bag and some notebooks in the sales that I wanted to buy in anycase.

It snowed heavily on the day we were supposed to meet my sis in Meadowhall and do the sales :(
The sales all seem to be full of tat anyway, either that or I just can't be bothered to look!

I'm still having my honeymoon-period with our new primark and everything in there is like sales prices, and I got a lovely black short dress/long top for £8 :beamingwithpride:

- Very greedily buying 2 sets of Port and Stilton (gift sets :o ) for half price in tesco and scoffing it all with Mr PB!
- Finding a lovely half-price suitcase in a nice aubergine colour
- Shelleys sale - was so spoilt for choice I didn't actually buy anything. Definitely going to head back though.
Bad:
- The Next Sale. Hideous, hideous, hideous! I only went there as I got some vouchers at Christmas but have decided to head back when it no longer resembles a market stall.
- The Mango sale where everything is supposedly 50% off -signs everywhere - only most things were only reduced by about 20% :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
- That feeling you get in the sales that everyone else has got better bargains than you but you still trek round for ages in the hope of finding something decent...

I've just seen a lovely dress - unfortunately it wasn't very flattering on me, but it would suit someone!
It was black with white polka dots all over it, knee length and cross over style top. Not the best description I know - looked online and it's not on there yet. It's stunning, and best of all, only about £30!
