V Neck tops
Hi there, I am looking for good quality long sleeved lycra v necks, I don't like the Dorothy Perkins/ Topshop material.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Answer:
MS always have basics like these in.
Answer:
Jigsaw/Kew have very nice quality ones I think, but are rather pricey at £30 for Jigsaw ones. Kew ones might be worth checking out though.

Gap have loaaaaaaads in the sale at the mo. Long-sleeved round, slashed and v-necks in white, black, brown for £6.99. I'm gonna get some tomorrow - they should still be there. They had a long rail of them in all the branches I went into.
Does anyone actually use those free tops you get with magazines???

I think they're totally pointless! They never fit properly and even if they did they wash terribly (I've worn a few in vest emergencies and they've shrunk after washing into about half their size).
I'd never buy a magazine on the basis that I got one free, in fact it sometimes even puts me off :p
What do you all reckon? Anyone use them?
Answer:
I had one that I wore in bed but it fell apart when I washed it.
They are generally too big for me anyway but I do agree that they are totally pointless. The bags are occasionally handy but generally vile ;)
Answer:
I never wear the tops - can't get the bloomin' things on, never mind off again! The only bag I ever used free from a mag is one that I still use for my daughter's nursery bag to put all her nappies and wipes etc in!
Answer:
You do see a lot of them for sale on ebay . . .

 that reminds me of when i saw a totally trashy cheap pair of plastic flipflops on ebay and then i realised id seen them for free on a mag! even worse, my stepmother who worked in a newsagent then, wore them to the pub!!!
Opinions on bag please!!!

1 Attachment(s) I'm not a regular fashion bagger, but I thought I'd venture over here as I'm about to make a big(ish) purchase.
I love this bag.... its reduced from £99 to £59.... what do you think?
(they also do it in a very pale baby pink.... but black is more practical I think!).
Thank youuuuu
Answer:
I like that bag, always have but have never bought one - I've got enough bags for the moment!
Answer:
I have one in black and brown. Love 'em!
Answer:
its soooo beautiful, i keep going to the website and gazing at it adoringly.... the only thing that's putting me off is that the handles are short, so it wont fit over my shoulder. I know its got a shoulder strap, but i prefer when the handles are a bit longer, know what i mean?
Answer:
Is it real leather?

Sale Question... re Jones the Bootmaker
How long do items stay on sale for? And will they just take them off the website, or put them back up to full price?
I really want these shoes but I don't get paid until the end of the month ( I *think* so anyway - I've just started a new job so I'm not entirely sure) so do you think they will still be on sale and available at the end of the month? I could use my cc, but I'm really trying not to use it as I'm in too much debt as it is.. :o
Answer:
Hiya Amyris
I think you should be ok, the shoes should still be on sale at the end of the month only 2-3 weeks to go! The only thing would be is if they ran out in your size before then.
The shoes are so so so nice by the way - was having a browse at the site this morning and spotted them - had just spent £50 on some pumps in office though so funds wouldn't stretch!!
will keep my fingers crossed for you!
xx
Answer:
Not sure it means anything but i had an email the other day to say that stock has been reduced even more so it might mean it's coming to a close.
They tend to put left over stock in the 'clearance' section though i think!
Answer:
Hmm... I don't know what to do!!??
Should I wait and risk it? Or get them now?? OR, can I live without them?? Actaully, scrap that last one. ;) I know what will happen if I don't get them now, when I finally decide to, they will be out of stock. Hmmm....
Smart Blonde - They are so gorg don't you think? There are another pair on there that I've had me eye on for ages, hoping they would put them in the sale, but they didn't :(
Answer:
Get them now! They are gorgeous and if other people feel the same they will be gone
Ridiculously expensive bag purchase!

Ridiculously expensive bag purchase!
I am going to New York on Wednesday and I’m only 2 days away from making the biggest fashion purchase of my life… I have my heart set on a Marc Jacobs Blake and have scraped together just enough to buy it after lusting after it for over a year! Do you think I’m crazy spending so much on one item?
So this got me thinking, what’s your biggest single fashion buy?
Answer:
It's a really beautiful bag in a classic design so I don't think you'll regret it.
If you've wanted it for over a year then you don't sound especially fickle and it's unlikely you will have changed your mind about it next month - more likely you will love it even more!
Answer:
That's what I keep telling myself PB! I regularly visit my bag in Selfridges so I am really excited to be actually buying it!
:yay:
Answer:
You should buy it, you saved for it, you love it and if you spent the money on other things you'd only resent them because they were not your lovely bag. If you have a few $s spare after buying your bag, get to Century21 at Ground Zero, its always packed with amazing bargains.
Answer:
Ah, I think you just need a bit of reassurance before you make such a big purchase. Don't worry, you'll get plenty of that on here! :)
