Need outfit help!
My friend's brother (who is super-sexy) rang me about an hour ago  to personally ask me to come out for his bday on Saturday night.
Ooh he makes my heart flutter just a teeny bit and I'd like to look super glam on Sat night!
So far I've picked these to wear but need help on my top half. I'm willing to make purchases if necessary!
I'm sorted for jewellery/accessories.
I don't wear strappy tops on their own cos of scars on the backs of my shoulders so a bolero will need to be worn if any are suggested.
Has anyone seen a black sequinned one about? I'm wanting a black outfit so any nice black tops anyone can suggest would be much appreciated!
Help!
Answer:
Ooh thats fab, congratulations on the sexy boy :) lol. As for black sequinned boleros, I got a nice one from Miss Selfridge a few weeks ago...it's quite lacy though, quite victoriana...not sure if it would be 'too much' with the skirt, but you could have a look!
Hope you find something nice to knock his socks off!
Answer:
I'll check Miss S. Thanks
Any other suggestions for a top?
Answer:
CX - I love the skirt and the shoes!!
I think a glam - but not OTT - long-sleeved black top would work well with them!
Good luck with the fit boy!
Answer:
If you get a sparkly sequined bolero then what about a plain black cotton v-neck vest top it will keep it looking glam without going over the top.

At a guess they sold it elsewhere, and instead of just closing the listing have edited it so that no-one will buy it.

Answer:
And they've put £50,000 so noone will bid.

Tesco have leather gloves half price atm.
And I think the ones you've seen are probably old fashioned because they're all in keeping with the vintage style that's in fashion at the moment!
What do you think of these shoes?

What do you think of these shoes?
I just can't decide.... They are reduced from €85 to €29. The bow is a bit weird but I can't decide whether I like them or not.
Shoe
Bow
Answer:
I really like the shoe, but I agree that the bow is a bit odd - Is it removable?
Answer:
I dont like the bow and voted leave em
Answer:
The bow looks like old carpet! Leave 'em.
Answer:
For some reason I think the bow looks like something from sesame street!
Shame though, as I like the shape of the shoe itself.
Your man and your style!

Your man and your style!
Just wondered- does your OH 'get' your style or not?
I ask because Mr Lucy quite often puts me off certain items- such as saying my Lush Biker bag looked 'gothic' and that the zebra ballet pumps I had my eye on in New Look were a bit 'out there'.
Gets on my nerves!
Answer:
Nope, I've never had any strange looks. I've only ever had compliments.
I get the standard rolling of the eyes when talking about something I've seen that I "have to have" though.

MrSP has fab taste and quite often spots something before me when we're out shopping! I then have to put up with comments like 'i picked that out, what would you do without me'  He's no good for my spending habit though as he's constantly saying 'go on, get it, it looks really nice' and he's always finding stuff on ebay for me...i'll be trying to watch Eastenders and he'll keep saying 'look at this, i've found you some flat pirate slouch boots' !! He just throws in every word he's heard or read in a magazine, even when i'm not looking for such an item ! bless him.
We do have the odd occassion where i'll come home with something and he's not too sure about it, but once it's on he usually thinks it looks great!;)
