Answer:
I like it, I think it's interesting and would look good with smart trousers. I could see the cream of the sleeves being unflattering and 'washed out' on very pale skin though.
Answer:
to be honest I'm not really sure about it either? Think id err on the side of no though. Has anyone seen it IRL?

Answer:
On first viewing I thought it looked very "weddingy" but looking at it more, I think its a very pretty top. Would look nice with some smart jeans and gold heels on a night out. You would get a lot of wear out of it in the summer though :)

I'm rather liking the black chiffony/see through blouses that are around at the mo and like these 2...

Trouble is part of me is thinking...
"I love the look, get one!!!"
While the other part of me is saying...
"But CiC you don't go out loads and would they be uncomfortable come the warmer weather. Can they be worn casually?"
What do you reckon? Go for it or save money?
Going out wise this year all i *may* be going to is a few drinks for my birthday and possibly a casual wedding reception.
Would you wear something like the above everyday (non work)?
    Answer:
I like those shirts. I have a similar one which I just wear for everyday things like shopping or lectures, for example with skinny black jeans and black ankle boots, so I think it can be done!
    Answer:
Yes! I've got a very similar one from NL that I bought ages ago, and I love it. I pop a pretty nude cami on underneath, and that's that; it's fine to wear when it's warm (but not really hot). I think they work fine as daywear - I wear them with tweed short shorts and a waistcoat, or with jeans, metallic pumps and a sparkly sequinned scarf for example.

    Answer:
Cat - I've got the second top from Warehouse. I wear it with a black vest under and a black cardi/shrug with my jeans. Although I wear it to work, my work place has a very casual dress code.
I imagine I'll wear it through spring too, just with out a cardi.
I think the second is more casual than the first - which is a bit more 'prim'.
    Answer:
As you may have noticed from my StyleDiary I wear my chiffon one all the time :p I like it with tweed shorts for a dressed-down look, but I wear it with culottes a lot too.
I think it'd be fine for summer, after all aren't lady-like outfits sticking around for a while yet?
    xx

    I want to rant at....
Who/what do you fancy having a rant at today? :D
For me it's zoom customer services who are usually fab but....
Email them about problem OTK boots, they reply asking for order number etc.
I never got an confirmation email and had thrown out the dispatch note which i explained to them.
    Hear nothing:rolleyes:
Email them to ask them what is going on - get told to go to a store with dispatch note (:banghead: )
Explain i can't get to a store and don't have dispatch note as explained in previous email.
They ask for me to find the date the money went out of my account to pay for the boots, so i do and email them with all the information they could possibly need.
Today - get an email to say take them to my local store, FFS!!!!! :banghead:   :faint:
So zoom! Do you think you can assign one person to deal with a problem instead of 10, getting different replies off each???? That way you may sort out problems more quickly and not cause your customers to want to come with a gun and murder you all:hitting: :loopy: :lipper:
    And *Breathe* :meditate:
    Over to you :D
    Answer:
Let me think who I can rant at
Oh I know --- ROYAL MAIL
I posted a bag via airsure on 10th December to Los Angeles, it should have been there in approx 3 days. One week later I called and it was in New York, one week later, disappeared, one week after that in Birmingham UK, a week after that NO ONE has a clue....
I call royal mail almost daily just to be met with "Hmm dunno where it is...."
It was bought by an ebayer for her Mum's xmas present, so she's not happy at all with me :meow:
    Answer:
bought some perfume from ebay uk, for much much less than the rrp because the seller didn't use her keywords well (i had to dig!)... anyways, i send a postal order because she doesn;t accept paypal and quel surprise - she hasn't received it  and despite my proof of post slip , i didn't obtain the counterfoil from the post office so i either have to pay again or let it go :(
it's not like it was alot of money, but it's the principal of it and i had a feeling she wouldn't want to sell at that price - but then, sellers shouldn't start listings at £0.99 if they're not willing to sell at that price!
and i was soo pleased to have won it for so little....
i think all sellers should accept paypal :meh:
    Answer:
    po's
Heidi Bee... why did the post office not give you the counterfoil... that sounds really dodgy........ (them not you hun!)
    Answer:
Can I rant at myself? I'm annoyed that I haven't managed my money well enough this month and I'm out of pocket with 2 weeks to go :(

I am a native English speaker but I don't live in an English speaking country anymore. Are pants still underwear? Or can you say pants for trousers these days?
    Answer:
Pants = Underwear for me! Men's ones usually :D
    Answer:
pants = underwear.;) big bridget jones knickers spring to mind.

    Answer:
    UK - pants = knickers
    US - pants = trousers
    Answer:
Pants = Underwear for me! Men's ones usually :D
Yes, me too, but loads of people I know call trousers 'pants'. It confused me when I first heard it but you hear it all the time now
