    NO.2. ask :
    I'm in a Fashion Funk
All my clothes are so boring, I really struggle for something to wear of late, I am ok for maybe 2 days of the week and then it takes me ages to find something that looks half decent.
I seem to have loads of plain long sleeved tops and a few too many bits and pieces from Primark, I feel like one of their dummies some days.
So, to get to my point, what, in your opinion are the current must-have basics?
    Answer:
accessorise wise im loving thicker alice hair bands in bold colours. i think they update your look immediately and add some colour also. (and they are cheap!)
skinny jeans are amazing if your thin, and i think clean lines, or pastel coloured items are perfect to take you through to spring. big, high quality bags are also something which can make an outfit (same with a gorgeous pair of shoes!)
have a look at www.net-a-porter.com (if you arent already familiar with the website FULL of lustworthy clothes!!), at the moment there is a section on what will be big this spring summer! have a look if anything catches your eye.
there are also loads of stores who do a personal shopper service. topshop in oxford circus for highstreet and all the big department stores if your looking for bigger purchases. many of my friends have worked with a personal shopper - ive been told they are incredibly helpful and very good at picking out items which look amazing.
    :p
    hope this helps!!!!
    Answer:
    Thanks nina_marie
I like the idea of skinny jeans but I haven't been brave enough to try them yet. Maybe I will try a pair or 2 this weekend
I am well aquainted with net a porter! ;) I haven't got the purse for it but will certainly look again for inspiration
A personal shopper is an excellent idea although I am a bit worried they might talk me into buying something that looks silly.
    Answer:
yeh i see where you are coming from with the personal shopper thing...from what ive heard however, they are incredibly good at picking out items that suit your figure etc, etc. they've been trained to do the job after all! also im sure you can always say - oh im not so sure etc, but hey you never know they might pick something out which youd never ever have chosen but which ends up looking fabolous!!!
ive thought of a few more things - im loovving chiffon polka dot blouses at the moment, and boots are always a good buy, especially if you really like them and look after them - they'll keep going into next winter too.
    have fun shopping!!!!!
    Answer:
    Hi!
You can get great ideas from the ´what are you wearing right now´thread and you will be able to see most of us are quite keen on skinny jeans!
Myself, I find shorts quite flattering, sexy and still smart!
You can match them with either a shirt or funky tee /jumper and pair of heels/boots!
    So, Id strongly recommend:
    - a nice pair of shorts (or if you are like me one in every colour possible in either tweed or wool or denim or corduroy)
    - nice smart shirts (great with jeans or pants from work to casual days)
    - cropped cardies
    - pair of slouchy boots or uggs or cowboy boots or pirates or...pick your fave!
    - nice leather bag, nice leather belt, long long necklaces!
    :)

    Jeans Help Required
    Hi all!
Usually lurk here alot, and know that you lot know your stuff!
Anyway was just wondering, if you think it is still worth buying a pair of skinny jeans? I tried some on at the weekend, and quite like them. I have heard that they are on their way out. Do you agree?
If they are, what jeans (High street) would you recommend?
    I am 5ft 7, size 12.
    Thanks in advance!
Have to go now, and feed baby, but will be back soon.
    :) :)
    Answer:
Grazia says they'll be in for the duration so go for it! If you want cheapy pairs loads of people like Primark, New Look, Topshop and D.P's versions.
    Answer:
    Thanks Girl in the city.
So which shop does everyone prefer?
    Which ones perform the best?
    Which are the most flattering?
    Answer:
I don't think they'll decline in popularity until people stop wearing knee-high boots when the weather's warmer.
    Go for it!
    Answer:
I wasn't so keen on the whole skinny jeans thing when they first became popular as I thought I couldn't wear them as I might look like an upside down triangle as my thighs as quite muscular but got my 1st skinnies in River Island yesterday and I love them! They are really flattering when I wear then with knee high slouchy boots! :) think they were only about £35!

    Hi
I'm after some everyday earings as the title suggests! ;)
I don't suit dangleys except hoops I want something shiny.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Answer:
I wear for work, studs from MS and Next. I tend to wear alot of beads and necklaces to make my work clothes a bit more edgy so just stick to either plain silver or gold studs depending on the colour of the necklace.
    Answer:
I agree with Girl and the City - you can get some gorgeous diamond stud earrings in NEXT.
    Answer:
Yep! Diamond studs or pearl studs would be my fave for an everyday/officey/classy look! ;)
    Answer:
I got some little diamate studs from Claire's Accessories, stainless steel and were about $5 (5 pounds, sorry laptop keys have gone funny!)
I never take them out unless I change them for going out and they don't leave those unsightly black marks that some of the cheaper ones do. :)

Love the sound of white - especially with a tan and bright accessories!!
    Answer:
Not really liking the dazzle section, just all looks a bit cheap to me, fabric-wise.
The white looks nice refreshing, so it could be good to mix some of those pieces in with what I've already got.
Still doing the 60's mod look though.
    Answer:
Hello Miss Sofia - nice to have you back!!!
    Answer:

i would LOVE a loose white almost kaftan like shirt dress to wear with neutral flip flops, burberry knit hat as on NAP, and bright red toes and fingers...and a big brown or cream coloured leather bag. i guess i can keep dreaming till summer then
