Are you happy with your style?
Are you happy with your style, or are you trying to change - aspiring to something else?
I cringe when I see myself just in a hoody and jeans TBH when I'm just round campus when I haven't made the effort, but when I do, I think its quite 'me'.
Anyone else?
Answer:
I quite like my style when i've made the effort and have the money to buy exactly what i want but lately i just seem to be slobbing it:o
Other people do make nice comments when i do make an effort though so i'd say i'm pretty happy :)
Just want to better my body so i can wear more of what i would like to :D And i'd like to be shorter so i could wear lots of amazing platforms like SmallGirl !
ETA: Although i never feel like i quite hit where i want to style wise so i'm not entirely happy....just kinda 'it'll do for the time being'
Answer:
I'm getting there... slowly! Probably thanks to this forum, and the fact that as i grow up i am recognising more and more of what i like, and the style that suits me.
My day to day work stuff is quite nice now - one work mate even said how i always look glam :yay:
It's just at weekends that it all goes downhill.. then I end up in jeans etc. Need more ideas for smart/casual looks!
Answer:
I would say that I'm fairly happy. I'd like to loose some weight as I think I would then be able to wear what I wanted, but I'm probably deluding myself... I don't think I'll ever be able to wear skinnies no matter what I weigh ;) I wear a uniform to work, so that's no problem. I'm trying to experiment a bit more with the outfits I wear on nights out, but I too need some casual inspiration... All I seem to wear is jeans, jeans more jeans.
I was thinking about this the other day though - do you think there is anybody who is 100% happy with who they are and how they look? I was wondering as one of my friends is really pretty and has a great figure, but she still thinks she needs bigger boobs and to loose a bit of weight.

I think there is always part of my which wants slimmer thighs, more streamlined hips etc :( but as long as I'm able to look beyond that I'm reasonably happy with it. The worst time is when I concentrate on specific areas rather than the whole picture, as then naturally there are things I don't like!
Opinions on these white shorts please!

Opinions on these white shorts please!
I want a pair like these for summer (but in white), these are from La Redoute and they're £18. They do them in cream, but not white.
I'm not sure if they're perfect though.
Anyone seen anything better before I go ahead and grab these?
I was going to use the discount code posted in WDYBTW to get em for £8.
Hmmmm.
Edited to fix link.
Answer:
sorry but I cant imagine white shorts looking good on anyone larger than a size 4 - I wouldnt, but maybe if you are really stick thin and young with no bumps at all, you just might be able to pull off the look.:(
Answer:
I like :great:
Answer:
what is the discount code? thank youuuuuu
Answer:
White is a very diffiicult colour to pull off Kirstin, especially on the bottom half!
If you know you would feel happy and confident in them go for it but if not maybe think about getting them in a different colour?

next clearance shops
NO.3. ask :
next clearance shops
how good - I got 2 pairs of smart black work trousers and a pair of gorgeous black leather knee high boots at lunchtime. £25 for the lot:eek: :yay: :yay: :yay:
Answer:
Which shop? There was one I went to a couple of yrs ago called 'Next To Nothing' and it was shite! Hmm ..perhaps I should go again.
Where's the shop? I can't remember where the one I went to was
Fab bargains you go there Juggler :)
Answer:
no it'snot the next to nothings - I think that is where they sell all their seconds. there are a couple of big next clearances up here near glasgow - one is at the Forge in Glasgow and the other is out in Livingston (I think), it's where all the stuff from previous seasons are sold off for at least half price or lower, and all the stuff from last seasons catalogue in there too.
a few of my colleagues go there all the time for work suits, but Next jackets are cut all wrong for me - too short and boxy.
think it's just one of those shops though like TK Maxx where you coan be lucky and find loads or find absolutely nothing at all.
Answer:
Boo! Too far away for me.
Answer:
I went to the Next clearance at Lakeside and it was cr*p,quite pricey I thought!

Is topshop the only place..
NO.5. ask :
Is topshop the only place..
..that I can get the longer vests from? I need about 5 new long basic vests for layering, but whilst the TS are good value for money, I'm a cheapskate and don't really want to spend fifty quid on boring basics :D is there anywhere else with longer vests?
Ta!
Answer:
They're about £2.50 in Primark, they had loads in the Lakeside branch the other day. They're not too bad quality either, I have a couple (about 6) of the long length 3/4 sleeve tops and they're lovely.
I bought one from Topshop which cost £10 or £15, and you can hardly tell between them with the quality or style.

Tis ok, I'd bought a topshop one before I'd seen the Primark ones and I was seriously thinking of taking it back! you can get 5 of the V-neck long-sleeve tees for the same price as one in TS.
I didn't see the ones MsMolly has, but there are plain ones in there!
Good luck with getting to Lakeside, I went just after xmas and it was absolutely mental! :)
