Joes Jeans
Afternoon all,
I can't remember who has these (have a feeling it might be CaramelX) but was just wondering about the sizing on them? Found a good seller on ebay, but am not sure what size to go for... Are they stretchy? Or true to size?
Any help much appriciated!

I remember Curlsaloud loved her Joes Honey jeans, she'll help i'm sure. I found they were TTS but run larger in the thigh and were more stretchy than my other jeans.

I'm a massive fan of Joe's now. The honeys were my first ones - they are very generously cut for curvy ladies - there is a pic of me wearing them in my style diary.
I have since bought 3 more pairs of Joes :o
I have the Socialites - these are a wide leg trouser jean with a very wide hem. Really nice jeans to wear with heeled boots.

Then I bought the flap pockets - haven't worn them yet because they need to be hemmed. Lovely trouser leg style and the flap pockets are gorgeous. Here they are on Nordstrom:

Then I just bought these last week - Joe's Abstract Butterfly Stevens. Need hemming but lovely jeans.
They are definately my favourite jeans brand, with Yanuks coming a close second.
With regards sizing - Joe's are very generous - they certainly come up a bit bigger than 7FAMK and COH etc. I'm not sure there's a whole size difference, but they are just cut differently. Most of the Joe's styles are generous in the thigh area and they have a slightly higher rise than most high end jeans. They are definately good jeans for curvy ladies. I wear the same size in Joes as I do COH and 7FAMK but I think the Joes just fit me better all round.

I just bought a navy blue cropped cardi which I plan to wear with a baby blue tshirt, cropped jeans and navy tights but I have no idea what colour shoes to wear, I have red, cream or black but not sure if any of these go, maybe I need to buy some new shoes :rolleyes: any ideas what colours I could wear?

I love navy blue - it's my new favourite colour! As the others have said, metallics look fantatic with it - also grey, red and chocolate brown and if you put white with any of these as well, it looks great.

I need to get some sunglasses due to an eye sensitivity problem I have developed :rolleyes:
I haven't had sunglasses for years, they don't seem to suit me and now I really need them but don't know what to get.
I have a long face with smalllish features but I am tall so little sunglasses look too small on my being tall but bigger ones suit my height but not my face!
Please can anyone find me some great looking sunglasses, I don't even know where to get any and our town is rubbish for shhopping (besides I can't GO shopping until I have sunglasses :mad: ) so online shopping would be ideal.
I just don't want to look stupid-I feel self conscious enough about my eyes without having ridiculous sunglasses :o

yeh'd id agree for big sunnies. im extremely tall (6 foot), and have quite a round face, but they totally suit my figure and face, making me look a lot slimmer. another classic which suits almost everyone ive met are the ray ban aviators. there are loads of different colours, ive had mine since i was 18 and they are still my faves.

Bella ragazza I love those styles on the models-do you think they look ok on normal people? I guess I am self conscious already as I am going to be wearing sunglasses all the time when I am out side the house (and even inside on a bright day like today :rolleyes: )!!
