Primark Bags?

NO.1. Ask :
Primark Bags?
Hiya, I am in desperate need of a larger bag but as I am currently waiting to start learning to dive I am trying to save my money! Not really bothered about colour anymore!
Just wondering if anyones bought any bags from Primark? Whether they have a big range and they're good quality?
Thanks!! :)..LM
Answer:
Yes they do some nice bags (and some horrible). The quality has always seemed quite good
Answer:
i bought a silver metallic bag from there and its fab :)
there is a wide variety of bags but as jo said some of them are cheap!
Answer:
I've got a couple of cute little crochetted bags in black and gold which I use on holiday in the evenings. The range is generally quite big and I think the quality is good for the price you pay. I know lots of baggers have Primark bags and rate them quite well :)
Answer:
Thanks!
I'm off there now so i'll have a look!..LM;)

  • spring coat ideas?

    NO.2. ask :
    spring coat ideas?
I am after a new spring coat (getting fed up wearing usual black/brown winter affairs) and after seeing a repeat WNTW last night on UK Style I saw Trinny and Susannah wearing (yes both of them!) a spring coat with jeans/casual wear. It was knee-length, single button/tie and in rose-pink/cream colours. I am not describing it very well. Anyway it was probably a v expensive designer label and am after a high street version this year perhaps like this:
    http://www.boden.co.uk/col.asp?segna...tgpid=11gen=
Does anyone have any alternatives? Am I too early to look for spring stuff?
    Thanks everyone in advance! ;)
    Answer:
It may be a little too early yet but I also have my eye on that Boden one, it's lovely. I remember the TS one, think it was Missoni
ETA Just remembered I saw a nice one on redoute, will try and find a pic...
    Answer:
Have you tried Gap - they usually do similar style Macs?
    Answer:
This one, also linen and also comes in beige....
    Answer:
I will check out GAP thanks. I also checked out Monsoon but they were too "wooly" if you see what I mean. I think I will hold fire for a few weeks and see what the Spring stuff in the shops is like.

  • How many fashion baggers don't live in the UK?

    NO.3. ask :
How many fashion baggers don't live in the UK?
    I live in Sweden.
The upside is that we have better H and M's than the UK. We also have online shopping and store cards at H and M. Brands like Acne, Denim Birds and Nudie are Swedish so we get styles first and they are a bit cheaper than the UK. We have Debenhams (with Red Herring, Designers at Debenhams, Dotty P's, Wallis etc et), Topshop, Mulberry, Body Shop, Lush, Oasis, Karen Millen, Hobbs, Muji etc etc.
The downside is that Swedes all like to look the same and are a bit behind when it comes to fashion, but when they go for something, they ALL go for it. Things also cost more here - The Body Shop is about double the price. Fashion mags are hugely expensive (up to £8) and we don't get freebies.
Thank god for the internet is what I say! What other fashion baggers don't live in the UK?

    Answer:
Ha ha I heard some Brits at the Central Station say 'oh how sweet, it must be some kind of uniform' when they saw all the Canada Goose jackets swarming around!
    Answer:
    I have a Fjällräven Expedition!
    Answer:
I'm a non-UK bagger, based in the US in case anyone doesn't know. :)
I love the fact that I've got US cards to shop the sites don't really have to worry about the customs fees when buying from other countries as we've got a $200/day limit. Obviously the exchange rate makes shopping in the US a bit cheaper at the moment, so I've had some orders from friends in the UK who are happy to take advantage of my US cards.
I do miss shopping in some of the high street stores, but I tend to get my fix from them off of UK Ebay, and by sweet-talking OH into buying things that I have to have, but this is very rare.
When I move to the UK in a few months though, I know I'm going to love having US cards being able to send things to my parents house have them ship them over. :D
    Answer:
I AM a UK bagger, but on a similar note to being behind on fashion, I visited Israel for christmas and I was    at the behindness of them there. Disgusting gypsy skirts plastered wall-to-wall and ponchos in every shop window! I know some ponchos can be nice, but think back to the england poncho phase and you'll get what I mean!

    NO.4. ask :
    Am I a vandal?
I bought some rather nice jeans in the Whistles sale on Friday - they're meant to be ones with turnups but I'm so bloody short that when they're turned down they're just the right length for me.
The inside bit - the bit that shows if you turn them up - has loads of jingly little discs sewn on to them which are driving me nuts: you can't see them and I sound like a fecking Christmas advert as I jingle like sleighbells. They're easy to remove - but does that make me a vandal?
    Answer:
    Erm, no.
I'm a shortie too and usually end up putting turn ups into my jeans - however I may try your approach :)
    Answer:
    No it doesn't Blossie
Remove them, if they're irritating you, i would :D
    Answer:
Get those scissors out - you know you want to! :D
    Answer:
Just think of it as 'customising'.

    NO.5. ask :
    Jewellery rolls
Hi, Does anyone have any ideas where I can look on the net for a jewellery roll for travelling that *isn't* leather. I've done a search on this forum already but they mostly seem to be leather. Something like a Liberty's one would be perfect but unfortunately they don't sell them on-line. I've looked on ebay but the ones there seem to be mostly Chinese style fabrics. Thanks!
    Answer:
Pilgrim have a lovely one in velvet that costs about ten pounds. You can get them from Artyfax or the Online Jewellery Shop.
    Off to find a piccie!
