Dark brown boots?
Has anyone seen any nice dark brown boots around? I need reasonably flat ones because I have to walk to work in them, but most of the boots I've seen are too high heeled to walk a long distance in.
I have seen a few flat ones, but they're so flat they look like riding boots or wellies. I want something flat enough to walk in but still stylish and ladylike. Maybe a kitten heel would be ideal? Has anyone seen any kitten-heeled dark brown boots around?

I got some relatively flat dark brown boots from Clarks just before Christmas but they were reduced in the sale so may be worth taking a look there.

and bought a gorgeous two colour knotted front fitted top with sequinned attached cami under long sleeve in cappucino and cream - £12
and..... leather metaillic soft gold ballet pumps £12!!!!!

A lot of folks have been looking for leather gold pumps, any pics please? I saw a lovely, lovely pair of slouch ankle boots in there for under £20 I think, but they were real suede :( Still a great shop though!

They are metaillic foil finish, bright gold, almost silver toned with a small bow and trimmed around the eddge with ribbon binding. The insole is slightly cushioned as well. Very good quality for the price, and much nicer than the New lOOk ones which are synthetic and more expensive!

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, but I am thinking of investing some of my hard-earned cash on a couple of investment items next month:
- 1 pair princess cut diamond platinum earrings
- 1 diamond princess cut platinum pendant
Am looking to spend about £1500 on each piece I know what to look for in terms of the 4 'Cs'.
Do you think Hatton Garden is the best place to go, or can anyone recommend another good jewellers that I could use?

I suggest doing a weekender to Amsterdam if you're looking for diamonds. Quite a few people I know went there for their engagement rings (and another went to South Africa but that might be a bit far !).
