Anyone planning any office purchases? Huge and potentially cheeky favour!
Well, I tried to get the cash back for my OTK boots today, but little did I know they only offer credit notes! (If I knew this I wouldn't have got them..)
Had planned other stuff to buy with the cash, and there's nothing in there I want.
The credit note if for £50, so if anyone's planning a purchase there and fancies helping me out I could post 1st class.
Pm me if you're interested!

Long-waisted
NO.2. ask :
Long-waisted
I've come to the conclusion that i have a 'long waist' because a lot of tops i buy...esp t-shirts...tend to be too short and finish just above my hips...which i am trying to disguise. I've had this problem both with hipsters and higher waisted trousers. I prefer to have tops that are long and cover the top of my jeans...any ideas where i could find any ?
Answer:
i asked this a while ago and was told HM and the bagger was right!
Answer:
H+M are good, and Topshop have long length vests which I :throb:
Answer:
Primark do good longer length vests at a bargainous 2.50!

Skinny Jeans at HM?
NO.3. ask :
Skinny Jeans at HM?
Does anyone know if they do them? And if so are they any good? I need another pair of skinnys and I have vouchers for HM so which would help my dwindling here induced bank balance!
Answer:
yeah they do. 'Divided' have a few stretch pairs in various shades of blue and one non-stretch pair that I love the style of but just didn't fit me at all :(
They also have a pale grey pair in the 'Clothes' section.
Answer:
I got a pair for Xmas they are brilliant! They fit so well (but I think that's due to them being stretch) they are 'skinny' all the way down to your ankles which was exactly what I was looking for.
Mine cost £29.99 but I don't know what section they were in as they were mixed up in a sales rack. Sadly they weren't on sale though! :(

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go in and grab a SA rather than hunt throught the jumble sale that HM usually ends up like!
Answer:
I got a pair of skinnies from HM at the end of last summer; they were reduced and BOGOF, so they cost just £14.99 nd I got something else to go with them as well.
I'm not sure if they do the same style now but they're absolutely fab; what I would call "proper" skinnies. They're lovely and tight; almost like denim leggings, and very very fitted right to the ankle.
Definitely worth a look :)
How can I make black tie a bit different?
NO.4. ask :
How can I make black tie a bit different?
Sorry for bringing up a topic that has been done to death, but I need help especially based on what's in the shops RIGHT NOW. I have a black tie event (yawn) coming up and I have two problems I could really use your expertise for:
1. I would ideally like to wear my black pencil skirt with a top and wide black (preferably patent) belt, but what top should I wear and where can I buy the latter two items?
I was thinking perhaps a black bustier top or my black double-breasted waistcoat (bit revealing?)... my TS vests are not going to cut it! I can't spend loads, so high street it is.
2. How can I avoid looking exactly like everyone else and stand out a bit? I realise the above 'black' idea is hardly original but I need a unique touch, any ideas? Am thinking of getting the TS snakeskin platform heels (wow, TS, that's a bit left field eh...) but otherwise haven't a clue. I'd love to go vintage on the cheap.
Some lovely nebulous questions there for you, please have pity on me and post your fab ideas!
Answer:
Pretty please! Last year's ball I was really disappointed with my outfit (thought about it for all of 3 seconds and lived to regret it) but this year I really want to make an impression on my future employers as well as potential cuties to boost my newly-single ego!
Answer:
I know what you mean - I had this problem at Christmas and wore some red platform peep toes to liven up my galaxy dress!
Not sure where you'd find a black patent belt - maybe some other baggers would know? I like the waistcoat idea with the pencil skirt and belt and you could wear a chiffon type scarf to make it less revealing? It wouldn't cost much either and you could go for something quite funky i.e. leopard print or polka dots if you can get away with it?
Answer:
Ah Jerrica, thanks for posting: I was starting to despair!
Where did you get your red platforms from, am loving the sound of them!
And the scarf is a stroke of genius, I'd never have thought of that! Will check out TS as I know they had some recently... do you think one'd look good tied sort of French chic/ air hostess style round the neck?
Answer:
Wear the pencil skirt and get the shoes from Topshop...
Then maybe one of these....
With a belt...
With these
And accessories to go with them?
Chocolate peeptoe platform - Dottie P's - Heel height?
NO.5. ask :
Chocolate peeptoe platform - Dottie P's - Heel height?
Anyone seen these IRL - they're in the sale shoe section of the website (sorry don't know how to post pic)! Just wondering how high the heels are ie don't want them if they're about 3.5 inches!
Thanks! :)
Answer:
Have ordered them anyway - can't go wrong for £20, so will see what they're like when they arrive. Yay, another package to wait for! :yay:
Answer:
Hope you used the 25% off link!
Answer:
No, I didn't - I did a search but couldn't find it!! Oh @rse - where's it posted, in the sticky?
Answer:
Yup! Someone reposted it again recently so it should be on the last few pages of the discount thread.
If not the original post is on page 9 :)
