Ebay postage
How much do you all charge for postage when selling items on on Ebay? I've just finished listing my first lot of stuff after a HUGE clear-out, mostly clothes, and I've put all the postage at 2.50...does that sound about right? I dont want to put people off bidding by having it high, but also I don't want to lose out from ebay and paypal fees etc by having it too low! (bearing in mind I've started all my auctions at 99p, so they could well go for that price!)
Thanks :)
Answer:
I usually charge actual postage costs - I weigh my stuff on my kitchen scales and then use the Post Office website to work out costs and add a little bit extra to cover packaging. But then I'm a bit anal about stuff like that :p

Lol...unfortunately I dont have any kitchen scales, as I'm at uni! How much does a top usually come to? Do you not add any extra to cover paypal and ebay fees (as I've heard it's okay to do that?)
Answer:
If i get my Jiffy bags from ebay so they are cheaper and send my items recorded delivery i'd put my postage at £2.00 maximum.
It may be worth going to a cheapy shop and getting some cheap kitchen scales though.
ETA: I think you aren't supposed to add extra on postage for ebay and paypal fees. It's supposed to be purely for postage and packaging. I think ebay advice against and are against it.

Oops, I didnt know that...I thought it was the 'done thing'! I've been paying postage fees of £4 upwards quite happily on the things I buy! feel a bit silly now! Thanks CiC - maybe I'll put it at £2 instead of 2.50 then. Thanks! Just hope they sell now, I need some money to pay for my big Topshop online spree yesterday
Accessories on Ebay

Accessories on Ebay
I've got quite a few necklaces and stuff that I don't wear anymore, so figure they are just taking up valuable space doing nothing.
Does anyone know if jewellary sell on ebay - none of it's fancy, just accessorize etc, or at least enough to warrant me putting it on?
Cheers! Just being lazy :o and wondering if it'll be worth the effort
Answer:
I buy accessories off of Ebay when I find ones I like, I'm actually stalking belts at the moment. :)
Neckaces I usually like to know the length of so I know how they'll fit me. :)
Answer:
I have a necklace on ebay at the moment, but I can't see it selling :( I buy quite a lot of "retro" accessories which I can't find in the shops. If you don't mind risking it, bunch the items into one auction and it might appeal more :)
Answer:
thanks girls :)
I might do as you suggest laboo, put a whole lot in one auction.
Answer:
I sell and buy accessories on Ebay. I have a necklace and earrings on there at the minute with a few watchers but no bids yet. If you sell with tag you are more likely to get bids. It's worth a try! Good luck.
So, how did you first find The 'Bag?

My turn to start a nosey thread......
How did everyone first get introduced to here?
For me, I used to read a forum on ASOS...not sure if they still have it, anyway, somebody posted a link to here with a Redoute discount code on it, and the rest, as they say, is history!:)
Answer:
I chanced upon it by accident while doing a google search for a here I was after, and it bought me to the fashion page with a complete thread on it!

My tan boots
NO.5. ask :
My tan boots
I have some gorgeous tan knee-high boots, but the tan colour is starting to scuff and wear away slightly, revealing black underneath!! Not a good look!
Is this repairable at all?? I would hate to have to chuck them out.
Thanks!

Answer:
Are they leather or synthetic?
Answer:
Synthetic ... which I guess is part of the problem!
Answer:
BUMP!!
Anyone?
Answer:
You could try getting a little can of Airfix model paint (in a matching colour, obviously) and a fine brush to touch them up.
