Would you help me find me a bootyful bag?

NO.1. Ask :
Would you help me find me a bootyful bag?
Can anyone reccomend a nice bag for me, I would like something that's quite big but not too big. Preferably a nice material and not fake leather looking IYSWIM, I am willing to spend between £30.00 - £40.00.

I would be using it alongside tan boots and gold pumps, so needs to be a colour which will go with everything really - I live in jeans!

Thanks Ladies :D
Answer:
try
they have gorgeous bags lower prices than the shops..I'm obsessed with the Radleys
Answer:

there are some lovely bags on the TS site in your price range. I bought a leather metallic pewter one a few years ago it's still going strong. It goes with everything isn't too matchy matchy even when I wear gold or silver shoes.
There are some lovely leather ones on there bit more expensive though.
Got to say I hate Radley bags. That dog gets on my wick :D
Actually- I've got this in navy :)
This could be quite versatile
oops put the same one on again-

    Anyone familiar with Watford?
I have a job interview there but it will mean a total relocation. I know nothing about the area. I wouldn't want to live near where i work so what are the surrounding areas like?
Keep hearing things about it being really rough, but it is subjective really isn't it?
Asking you lot, coz I know a lot of you are from London way, and thought you may know it if you have ventured up there..:)
    Hope you don't mind.:cmdunno:
    Answer:
I don't know Watford well but I know people who are from there and I'm pretty sure it's not what I'd call rough. I usually use to check out areas - you need to put a postcode in and it'll then give you an area profile, as well as telling you more about the area like where your public services are.
Surrounding areas are definitely pretty posh as you moved further out of London and presumably more rough if you look further in towards London. It's pretty suburban out that way.
    Answer:
I'm from Pinner which is around 20 minutes from Watford.
Watford itself I don't go to much. The shopping is quite good but I tend to think of it as a little chavvy, the clubs particularly so. Then again I rarely go out there, and I think some of the bars are ok. When football's on the traffic in the surrounding area is terrible.
Having said that, my sister's about to move to a flat in Watford and it's a very nice area. Most of the surrounding areas (Bushey, Northwood, Moor Park etc) are very nice. The only thing with these areas if that they can be very expensive to live in, similar to parts of central London! I imagine bits of Watford are a bit better but still by no means cheap. I think north Watford, Garston etc might be more affordable but I don't know what they're like. So anyway, just make sure the salary is enough!
    Answer:
Thanks guys - all useful info:D
Whats Pinner like? and Rickmanshaw? I wouldnt want to live in Watford - too close to work. 20 mins away sounds ideal.
    Answer:
I think you mean Rickmansworth :D but sorry, I don't know an awful lot about it, though could probably find out if you liked. Places like Amersham, Chesham and Chalfont are a bit further out in that direction and nice, but very quiet and villagey.
Everywhere around is quite suburby, mainly middle class and quite middle aged. Eastcote/Pinner are small towns with reasonable high streets (i.e. Superdrug, Woolies, Boots, camera shops, takeaways but no real clothes shops), but you'd have to travel somewhere to go out really although there are a few nice bars. Pinner is very nice, has quite a big MS food shop and large Sainsbury's and Tesco's. It's got some nice restaurants (one Chinese/Malaysian/Thai place is :faint: ) and is quite pretty.
Harrow is bigger again and has some nice areas (Harrow on the Hill especially) and some not so nice areas. There is a shopping centre here though, with lots of pubs and a few questionable clubs.
Do you drive or would you be looking to get to work via public transport? If it's public transport then looking at the tube map on Transport for London's website might help. I have no idea what
It also depends on whether you'd want to go into London a lot - somewhere like Pinner/Harrow has better transport links into the centre of London which might be useful.

  • Can anyone help me with these measurements?

    NO.3. ask :
Can anyone help me with these measurements?
I want to order a slip dress thing from Marks and Spencer to wear underneath sheer dresses for the summer. The slip I am looking at has a choice of 2 lengths, either 19 inches or 25 inches. Does anyone know roughly how long either of these lengths are? Am I correct in thinking 25 inches in knee-length? Is 19 inches indecently short?!
    Thanks x
    Answer:
Well, that would depend on how tall you are.
    Answer:
Yes, I probably should of mentioned that! I am 5'5'' :)
    Answer:
    Double post
    Answer:
When i don't have a measuring tape i always think that a ruler is 12 inches. So i 'mime' that against me and use that as a guide.
19 inches i just over 1 and a half rulers so not very long.
