Dying a bra!
Hi All
Has anyone ever dyed a white bra? Bascially I've got this new aquamarine evening dress and I cannot find bra in the right colour, in my size (36j!?) or one with see through straps... anyone ever dyed a bra???

If itīs cotton the dye will stick really well and in an uniform way. If itīs syinthetic it will have different tones, the starps wonīt have that much colour as the cups.
They wonīt turn bad, just kind of kinky but cool! ;)
Anyway, i am not sure as well if you would get the same aquamarine that you see on the dye package, in the case you want very similar colors.
Try to fnd some clear straped bra.

Why not go for a strapless balcony type of bra instead?
That way you will avoid ending up with a bra in a different aquamarine shade to your dress ;)

I've bought one of the zip-up shopper bags from TopShop.com in what I thought was white ... I'm being inept and can't seem to post a pic, but the same style bag is still showing up on the website, under bags, last but one all the way over on the right and is in grey (called zip up shpper!! ;) ) www.topshop.co.uk
Anyways, the bag arrived and it's pretty big - probably just that little but too big for me and my tiny frame, unfortunately - which is gutting. But also, i thought the bag would be white ... ivory at worst, btu it really is quite a mucky ivory in colour. Shame,.
Has anyone seen anything similar? I'm trying to replace a similar bag that I've had for yonks which is truly dead the topshop one would have been perfect - I could get over the colour thing, but it's too big for tiny me. Would appreciate any top tips:

I'll have to make a special trip into town for it, so will check with you if their bags are the big-half-moon-shaped slouchy ones or do they have sqare/rectangle ones? I'm pretty sure I'm wearing a black boobtube, dark teal calf length flouncy skirt, silver cage toe shoes, silver cinch belt and silver clutch.
I also have a gorge strapless satin dress, with a corset style top, but it won't zip up at the back and I'm not sure if I'll get chance to make the alterations I need (I want the zip taken out and replaced with lace up ribbon)

I am not sure - our work christmas party is black tie, which is very boring. I have quite a few black tie dresses and actually can't be bothered to buy a new one for the work party, so think I will wear either a black All Saints one I have that I chopped the back out of in a fit of customisation, or a jade green chiffon one that is a bit like a salsa type of dress. Sounds dodge, but is nice.
There are just other things I would prefer to spend my money on than black tie...
I also have a client christmas dinner and will wear my pencil skirt with very high heels and either a black vest top and belt round my waist or a brown dvf chiffon dress I have with my big bronze corset belt.
For nights out, will be wearing much the same as normal. I have the same jagged edge flarey mini with satin pintuck waistband as Bubbles Trentham, and wear it with black vest top and velvet belt with big burnished gold buckle round my waist with opaques and ankle boots. Or I have goldy, pinky tweed short shorts with opaques, ankle boots and drapey black boob tube with bow on boobs. Also have a super short teal t-shirt dress that I wear with my vintage DKNY belt...
Then there is the old faithful: drainpipes with high high heels and some kind of festively sparkley top.

Not really got any set outfits planned as such, but i know i will be wearing my black satin short shorts with front pockets at some point with black/grey tights and red ankle boots/leopard print heels, maybe with a black vest top and one of my waist belts.
Also have a bright blue chiffon dress to wear but not sure when?!
The black and grey drainpipes will also be making their usual outings and quite possibly several other pairs of short shorts.
I also intend to try my black 3/4 sleeve t.shirt minidress on it's own with a waist belt and tights and also over a cream slip so the bottom is sticking out with black tights and red shoes.
I'll be wearing my black pencil skirt with leather waist belt and possibly the mustard vest i have on today or a different one to go for a christmas meal with my parents.
Bit stumped for inspiration really.

I saw some bras that iīm interested in ebay.
The thing is that they dont sell them here in Portugal and i have no idea on the sizing, if itīs true or not.
For instance, HM bras are smaller than average....
I saw Playtex and kickerbox bras and can someone please tell me if these brands run true sizes or not?

Well as the title says I have no idea what to wear to my university interview but I know I can count on the good ladies of the fashion board to help me ;) I have only one smart skirt which is brown and lots of victorian style shirts in cream and that silk chiffon type material in black so if you can suggest any ideas with those that would be helpful if not I'm planning on going to oxford st today to find something. So lots of suggestions please :D

The one university interview I went to I wore grey tweed trousers, a black shirt and a white vest top.
Wear whatever you're comfortable in because firstly, you might end up feeling self-concious otherwise, and secondly, they'll be more interested in what you have to say than what you're wearing (within reason I guess!).
How about your brown skirt with a fine knit sweater, or one of your shirts? Or smart jeans and a shirt?
