where can i find.....
a nice fitted, wool or tweed long coat?
My best winter coat got nicked at new year  and I'm desperately trying to replace it!
Anyone seen any nice ones? I'm prepared to spend up to about £80.
I've looked on ebay but haven't found anything that great. Anywhere on the high street I can try?
Ta! x

Topshop, warehouse and marks and spencers spring to mind :)

Dress me for my 21st
NO.2. ask :
Dress me for my 21st
My best friend and I turn 21 this year. Her Birthday is in Feb mine in April and as our friends are all over the country we are having a joint get together in March.
We are all stopping at a hotel in the city centre and probably will go have a few drinks and go to a club. Now of course i'm freaking out about being well enough to go but another thing that's worrying me is i don't know what to wear!
So ladies i'm up for any suggestions! Only rules are...
*I don't do short short skirts without opaque tights
*I don't want to look mega dressy so no black dresses and bling
*I'd like to look fairly sexy but not in an obvious way, of course;)
Think that's it!
Looking forward to your ideas :yay:
Answer:
I;m still a huge fan of city shorts:
With a nice going out top and goregous high heels.
ETA:
If you have the figure for it (I dont!) I love this
Eta :
Answer:
Go for short shorts! Not everyone can wear them well/is brave enough, but you have the figure for it - wear them with opaques and some sort of top :uzzle: (not sure what, I'm still trying to find the perfect dressy top to go with mine!) and some killer heels ;)
Answer:
CIC for my 21st I wore a black strapless prom style dress with pink spots on it and white court heels. I felt like carrie in it! Really special!
Prob not so elegant when i fell over and someone had to pick me up though;)
Anyway my advice is instead of say looking for a top or shorts or a particular item you should get something that you love and makes you feel like a princess! Be that a dress or skirt or top.I also think its really nice to wear a dress and makes you feel like the birthday girl:)
Answer:
Thanks for the suggestions so far.
jo - That top is lovely but unfortunately my friend is wearing that on the night:lol: :o
ohara - i did think about giving the shorts an airing but i don't know what top to go for? I'd probably wear them with black opaques and possibly my red platforms.
numes - To be honest i'm not to worried about feeling princessy/extra special in the outfit as what we are doing is fairly casual and i'd prob stick out like a sore thumb! I do have my wedding in a few years for that though so my princess time will come! :)
I just want to look sexy, cool, etc etc - don't ask for much do i?

I'm not sure off this pair of Miu Miu wedges- whether to buy it or not. Please help, honest opinion ;)
Answer:
I think theyd be a killer to walk in with the wooden soles but i could be wrong!
Answer:
Those and tanned legs would look stunning!
How much? And where from ? (I want some!!)
Answer:
They look very painful to walk in! As numes said the wooden soles would probably be hell!
They are ok - not my thing though, sorry!
Answer:
It's on styledrops /raffello network - curls link. around $249, I think. Hmm...mm didn't think about the wooden sole bit.
Dorothy Perkins - returns and boots!
NO.4. ask :
Dorothy Perkins - returns and boots!
Last Thursday I ordered these boots from DPs.
They arrived today (2 working days eh?!) but the ones I had ordered were chocolate and these were black. great!
So I'm going to go to the shop and take them back, but I can't decide what I should exchange them for. The day after I ordered them by every day boots (black, Primark) broke - so now I need everyday boots more than I need 'nice' ones! The new version of my Primark boots is £28 now in Primark (expensive for Primark methinks!!) so I would rather buy better quality ones from somewhere else for the same pice.
So shall I swap them for the chocolate ones? Or for some more casual ones? And if you think I should swap them, has anyone seen any casualish boots for around £30 elsewhere on the high st/net?
Only casual DP ones I like are these:
but I'm not all that keen.
The bag I got from DP is lovely though
In purple, IRL is quite big and squishy and soft and a nice shade of purple, def a bargain for £7!
Thanks everyone!
Answer:
I like the first boots actually, and black is a useful colour, although brown is too- I guess it depends what colour you wear most.
Like the bag you got- not so keen on the DP casual boots.

Answer:
Personally I'd swap the first pair for the chocolate ones - they're lovely boots!
Answer:
They are! But I think I have still to get over the whole black and brown thing!
I wear a lot of both brown and black, and am never sure if its OK to wear them together! Or if i care!
here Organisers
NO.5. ask :
here Organisers
I saw a post someone made about a week ago I think about things you to organise bags with which makes, amongst other things, changing bags easier. Can anyone remember what they were and know where you can buy them? They sound ideal for me - I've finally got the amount I carry about down to a minimum but it all ends up floating at the bottom of bags making it hard to find a particular thing from the pile!
This is really bugging me because I can't remember which thread it was in or who mentioned it!! I've tried searching Fashion but can't find anything and at the time I googled it and couldn't find the items either.
Sorry this is really badly explained - I'm not having the best day :o !
Answer:
I need something to organise my bags. They're all at the bottom of a wardrobe and the leather ones are being crushed!
Answer:
Caramel , i was bought a here organiser for xmas, it does only hold 8 or 10 bags i think but you can hang it in your wardrobe or i have mine on the back of my door. Its just a cream canvas thing with loops you slide your bag into. Looks quite neat and saves my bags getting battered on the floor.
I have no idea where it was from - maybe lakeland?
xx
Answer:
I remember this post - Serendipity posted it. Try searching her posts or PM'ing her.
Answer:
Thanks SB - will look on Lakeland's website :)
