Chanel documentary last night
Did anyone else catch the first part of the Chanel series last night? The aim was to show us how a couture collection gets created, from KL's drawings to the final collection. It's on again next week (part 2) same time - 8.30pm BBC4.
All KL seemed to do was to turn up (very late) with some drawings with a few scribbled instructions and leave the poor seamstresses to get on with it. Really interesting anyway.

I've got a red bag that has a black mark on it and I wondered if there was any way of getting it off?
It's not leather it is PVC.
Any ideas?

You could try those sponges - One is by Flash, called the Eraser, and JML do a version as well.

Try Jif or some sort of cream cleaner. Test it on a bit inside first to make sure the colour doesn't come off.

Probably sounds odd but I ususally find that baby wipes get marks off pretty much any of my bags or any shoes.

Has anyone here had their drink spiked? If so, what were the symtoms etc?

My friend did,
She said she felt not with it, like she was watching what was happening through someone else's eyes. She also collapsed and said sounds were a bit jumbled up and muffled.
She had a nasty headache the next day and felt sicky.

Its just I was out last night - only had a couple of drinks but apparently I suddenly turned and was like I was very very drunk, couldn't stand at all etc, I can't remember any of it.
I havent drunk for a couple of weeks, so it could just be that my tolerence is very low, it just seems very strange, especially not having any memory of it whatsoever. My friends looked after me luckily, and took me home and put me to bed. I'm feeling a bit rouge today, which obviously could easily be a hangover, its just ordinarily I would have to drink A LOT to get to that stage :meh:

im flying off to ireland at the weekend with mr.bug :D
i know its going to be cold, so have decided to wear this outfit-
jeans
pewter pointed flats
black belted wool 3 quarter length coat
what top would you wear though? do you think a jumper would be too warm for travel? i have various wrap cardigans, icluding a pink one, a turquoise one and a cashmere shrug, so could get away with a short sleeve top
what do you think? also want to do the 'less is more' thing with what i pack, but we are going out for mr.bugs bday on monday, as well as sightseeing
any ideas? :)

I assume you will be flying off to Dublin? well, if I were you, Id probably wear some black fitted polo neck or cowl neck wool jumper...
There is no such thing as too many jumpers when it comes to irish weather, but should you feel something is missing, you can always go sales-shopping there! ;)
Irish are a great ´bunch´and I am sure you will have a fab time! (and make sure you (shop!) and stroll down Grafton st. and sip some cool coffee at Café en Seine or Bewleys amongst other cool coffee places!).

Might be best to wear a thinner top under a jumper just in case it's hot on the plane. Layers are good for saving on luggage space too :)
