O/T Good friend going travelling, want to get her a pressie but don't know what!
A good friend is going away for an 18-mth round-the-world trip soon.
She leaves in a few weeks and I want to get her a present. However, she is travelling light and already has the guide books etc. What can I buy her? She's also 36, likes her glamour and clothes and is generally fabulous... but I don't think she will be able to take any more clothes with her than she has already selected...

I like travelling in style too and wouldnt go without at least two pairs or sunglasses!

*A big Pashmina! (good for flights and can be used as belt, head-scarf, etc.)

A pashmina is a great idea - when I went travelling, I used mine as a blanket, a pillow - even a towel on one occassion :) Oh, and as a pashmina of course...
I also think a travel journal is a nice idea - I am sure you could find your friend a really stylish one. I think Paperchase do one especially for travel and I'm sure other places do too.

They go really nicely with my wide leg pinstripes, jeans, city shorts - can't wait to wear them! Only thing is, they're wide fit and a little bit on the loose side, but I'm sure a pair of insoles will sort that out!

Insoles will do the trick! I am a 5,5 (shoe size!) but unfortunately I could only get my leopard printed kitten heel round toe heels in either a 6 (39) or 5 (38)...so ended up buying the 6 (for confort!) and insoles and now they´re perfect and dont hurt! ;)
Your shoes are nice and you will be able to wear them with pale pink, blue, greens, oranges, denims too! :)

Ladies, I need some help! (OK, I actually want you to justify the decision I've already made, cos I'm a bit sad like that :o )
I bought a gorge leopard print wide cinch belt with a square buckle from a charity shop, with the sole intention of e-baying it to make some cash. Today I made the fatal mistake of trying it on and liked it so much I wore it. But, have checked my auction and it's up to £6 already with lots of watchers, with over 2 days to go.
My dilemma is this. Should I keep it and be glad I got such a bargain (it cost me less than a pound), or sell it and make some cash (may only be a tenner, but I'm skint and saving towards moving, and it's also a matter of willpower and principle, because I didn't buy it to wear, I bought it to sell and i just can't be trusted to stick to my promises lately...)

Have you tried Next? There aren't many necklaces on the website but they have loads in the store usually. Also try Treasure Box - I typed in heart and quite a few things came up.
