Sympathy needed
I went out last night and somehow managed to lose my favourite scarf. :( It was so special because my friend made it for me 7 years ago and is was so gorgeous, everyone used to comment on it. I'm gutted. :boohoo: My bf doesn't get why I'm so bothered by it....
Answer:
Aw no!!!    ! I know how you feel, I lost a necklace recently that my best friend had given me years ago. Stupid boys never understand things like this:rolleyes: !
Answer:
Thanks DitzyBlonde, glad someone understand! :)
Answer:
Were you at a bar at sumthin? Have you rung the places where you were yesterday? :(
Answer:
I went to a restaurant but I am pretty sure I didn't have it when I went in, as I remember taking my coat off and thinking it was odd I didn't have my scarf. I seem to remember taking it off in my bfs car on the way there but then I have searched and searched his car and it is has just disappeared! I can only think it fell out the car when I got out and I didn't notice. :( Will ring the restaurant later when they open and double check anyway though.

So, we get the bulging scrotum and the big-pocket effects — the two most common themes in high-style here design.

    Answer:
    Very interesting article.
Im not into expensive heres about £100 is as much as id pay,This is mainly because they are way way down in my list of priorities concerning money.
I have a conflicting view on people who choose to spend hundreds or even thousands on desposible fashion. On one hand i do think that somebodies money is their own and theirs to spend as they wish. But my other side thinks that its too frivalous to spend money on whats essentially something that hold your day to day belongings.
I feel sorry for the culture that we have now that is so celebrity focused, and that makes us aspire to be like them.Thousands of people get into debt to emmulate a lifestyle that they cant concievably copy.
I can just imagine people who dont say eat a basic good diet,or who are riddled with debt but have a here worth hundreds.
Ive personally done the whole buying to make myself feel better thing.Ive now just paid off my debts in full and ive relalized that by and large that material things dont make me feel better.
Im not saying that people who choose to buy designers bags are like this, dont get me wrong, its the people who clearly buy to aspire and who cant afford but do,that i worry about.

    Bead and Bangle Storage?
    Hi
I have just been trying to do a tidy up and I have a problem. I have way to many chunky bead necklaces and chunky bangles and I can't think of a way to store them all. I don't really want to just put them in a drawer and they are just too big and there are too many of them for my jewellery boxes.
Can anyone offer any advice or a clever solution?
    Cheers
    Answer:
    Maybe hang them on something?
    Answer:
Maybe try and get a funky mug tree?
    Answer:
Thats what I though but I wasn't sure if there was anything on the market that is suitable - other than banging hooks into an already stuffed wardrobe I don't really know :p

    So annoying!
Ok, so this is a bit of a rant, so sorry!
A good friend of mine keeps going on about how she loves certain items of clothing. She's got a great figure, so nothing really to hold her back, so I've been encouraging her, but she won't even try anything on!! I know its petty of me, but its really starting to get annoying about how she says she wants to try things, and then refuses to try anything on which is remotely different to what she already has
Anyone else got friends similar? I know its probably just a confidence thing, but trying something on is hardly going to hurt, is it?!
:o sorry about that - needed to get it out :o
    Answer:
My one friend is currently working the 'Chantelle from big bro' look complete with hair extentions :head:
She has got a great figure, the kind i would kill for and therefore thinks she needs to show it off at every oppurtunity. Obviously she gets attention and she think it is because she's 'beautiful and gorgeous' when really it's cause she's displaying everything. (She is pretty though too but you know what i mean)
She could pull off some fashion looks really well as she has the figure but sticks to slightly chav/tarty chic.
If she's happy with it then that's fine and we're still mates but i just wish i got chance to dress her up one time to show how fab she can look without loads of flesh being flashed (It's winter FFS! )
    Answer:
I know what you mean CIC!
Sometimes I could dress my friends, give them a make over! (like my very own lifesize barbie :D)
    Answer:
    at CiC's mate!
Yes, I totally know what you mean. I recently made my mum over - she has a killer size 14-16 figure and carries it so well because she's got 35" legs! (Clearly a recessive gene...) Anyway, she resigned herself to dowdy, unflattering, shapeless high waisted jeans from MS - the sort with really high, hideous oval shaped pockets.
It was hell trying to persuade her that just because she felt older than her years, really didn't mean she had to dress like it! I felt really selfish and spiteful at times, holding up the worst pieces of her waredrobe and it was heartbreaking to see her drop her head in both shame and frustration - she said she got the full Trinny and Suze treatment from me! I know what mean at this stage Ohara - they just can't see you're doing them a favour!!
Finally, I got her into Dotty Ps where she dropped a size instantly because of the more realistic cuts and found that skinny jeans with boots, wrap jumpers with pretty camisoles and sexy lingerie were real options! Now, she'll only go in MS for food and shops in New Look and DPs instead and says she really enjoys clothes shopping again.
