Help
Answer:
I'm going to a wedding in two weeks and I'm wearing a tan and brown patterned wrap dress, with a Gap brown wool cape jacket, and depending on how cold it is either brown shoes and tights or brown knee length boots. Elegant but warm :D
Answer:
I'm going to a wedding this weekend, and I am wearing a completely unappropriate floaty dress! Its pink from Hobbs and its gorgeous, and I got lovely cream Kurt Geiger shoes. Its all indoors, so dont have to worry about being cold!
Sorry not much help!
Answer:
Thanks
I had purchased a black chiffon dress with embroidery on it from Monsoon but am having second thoughts.
May well have another look around the shops.

  • What would TS recommend for a big bum???

    NO.2. ask :
What would TS recommend for a big bum???
    Hi guys, Help needed!!
I really really really detest my bum! its too big!! and i'm quite paranoid about it!
I wondered if TS had any recs for how to disguise this nicely??
or if you guys had any recs for any jeans that make a bum look smaller?? am i dreaming that any such thing exists???
I must have bought about ten pairs of jeans in the last few months and I dont LOVE one pair:(
    Any help HUGELY appreciated:)
    Answer:
    Hiya
what would immediately come to mind would be:
tunic style tops (oasis usually have lovely ones)
Wide leg trousers (anywhere from **** for casuals to dp's for versatile to wallis for dressy dressy)
bootcut low-rise jeans in a dark denim (bootcut will balance out your bum while the low waistband visually reduces the size)
Loose fit tshirts with a bandeau style rib at the bottom (won't show as much of a difference in the waist to hip ratio or cling around your small waist - hence evens up the difference)
Fitted little puff sleeve shirts - will show off your waist without clinging and the puff sleeve will also balance out your smaller top half with your bum
Longline cotton tunic vests worn over a 3/4 sleeve top will balance out your top half somewhat.
Probably a load of c ack but maybe some of that might be useful
    ;)
    Answer:
I remember reading that jeans with larger back pockets set close together make your bum look smaller.
    Answer:
I think trousers with a wide waistband are a godsend!
It makes your bum look like it starts so much lower than it actually does, = nice small bum!
Also, don't go for really high waists, its the same principle but backwards, it looks like your bum starts half-way down your back.
    Not a good look.
French connection do some trousers that TS love, they're called "Faux Jersey" and they come in loads of styles every season, go in and look at a few pairs of these, they're pricy (about £70-£80), but well worth the investment.

    Another Primark favour please!!!
I've posted about this on another thread but that thread keeps moving off the front page!
Can anyone get hold of the black cape style belted jacket from Primark in a 16 or 18 for me please? I haven't actually tried one on but normally wear a 16 or 18 in their tops and dresses.
I have tried Leeds, Wakefield and Barnsley - even stopping a lady wearing one to ask where she found hers! She told me Manchester had them, but she got hers three weeks ago.:(
I would pay the lovely person by Paypal immediately, plus a gift for being so kind!:yay:
    Thank you!!!!
    Answer:
My local brach doesnt have them yet, but we are usually a week or two behind the mainland, so I will keep an eye out for you and certainly pick you one up if we get them......

  • metallics

    NO.5. ask :
    metallics
Are metallic fabris/accessories still going to be in next season??
I got a waist belt for xmas it is a very distressed beige leather but has a goldy sheen to it, (if that makes any sense  )
I was looking into getting some accessories to go with it, saw some bangles that are a brushed gold affect in TS, that I quite liked and was thinking about the gold ballet flats in peacocks (but am worried they are too shiny :( )
Basically are metallics still going to be in?
    Thanks

    Answer:
Personally I think metallics are fairly classic and will look good season after season. If you like them, wear them with pride and don't worry about whether they're 'in' or not :)
    Answer:
    Here Here.
this what i always say to everybody,if you like them and can afford them, wear them!!

    Indeed! Well said!
I intend to wear my bronze belt/bag and metallic gold and silver bags/shoes/belts too regardless of whether the look will be ´in´ or not. One cannot be such a fashion-victim as throw away a trend as soon as it is over!
If you like it, wear it. Classy, leather pieces will never go out of fashion. :)
    Answer:
i love metalics, especialy silver/gunmetal. And will wear my silver ballet flats until they fall apart, not are unfasionable. I agree with what was said, wear what you feel good inand not be a total fashion victim.
