I got my additions shoes today!
The platform ones (Suede effect and snakeskin) are gorgeous but my little toe seems to stick out of one of the gaps
The peeptoes, well. The shape of the shoes is lovely but i really don't like the bow:( It doesn't look as nice as the site picture.
Glad i ordered them though to see what they are like! Tempted to try ebaying them rather than send them back:)
Answer:
Really?
No sign of mine yet.....hmmm bet I dont like mine either.
What are their arches like? I have really high arches (from dancing) and I hate it when there is a gap!!
Did the 6 fit? Post a pic, post a pic!!!
Cheers for the update.....
Answer:
The 6 is fine, if anything a bit loose in the sling backs:eek: From what i can remember the arches are pretty high, lovely looking shape from the side.
I tried them on and they don't look as bad on to be honest but i can't see me loving them if you know what i mean?
I'll try and post pics of them later but not on as my feet are a fright at the mo, too pale and ick! :o
Answer:
Thank you - sounds like my 5s should fit okay then!!
Fingers crossed they arrive this week......
How to find a style for yourself
NO.2. ask :
How to find a style for yourself
Hi,
I want to find a style for myself and was wondering how you girl’s did it? I know what I like and what colors suit me. I tend not to following each trend but try to incorporate a little of what I like and think will be a stable for my wardrobe for years to come. However, at the weekend I was going clearing out my wardrobe and realized I have bit’s and pieces of everything and anything. Does anyone have any suggestion’s now I’d go about it?
Answer:
This may be a completely useless reply, but why do you need a specific 'style'?
Surely if you know what you like, and you wear what you feel comfortable in then that's your style - regardless of whether it fits into a certain trend or not?
Personally, I'd buy and wear things that I like and then your own style comes with that - how you accessorise or put together outfits.
Answer:
I agree with BB. My wardrobe has bits and pieces of anything and everything too, but that makes it really versatile so I can mix and match depending on my mood :).
I don't have one definitive style but a range of different outfits and looks.
Before I started Bagging there were a lot of clothes in my wardrobe that were neglected because I couldn't think of new ways to wear them, but I've got so many ideas from the tres stylish girlies on here.
Why don't have you a look at some of the Style Diaries on here (check out the links in peoples signatures) or the 'What Are You Wearing' thread for some inspiration :)
Answer:
Yus, what shiny said so much more eloquently and nicer than me :) just re-read my post and it sounds a bit harsh...completely didn't mean it to!
Answer:
Agree with the others, a style is something that you usually develop without noticing, not something you actively plan.
I think you can become more stylish though, if that's more what you're looking for? I feel as if I've done this just because I've become more interested in fashion and started experimenting with different looks because I was getting bored in jeans and tees.
If you're clearing your wardrobe out, chuck out/recycle anything that doesn't fit properly, is a very dated style or you just don't like anymore. Hold onto things that might come back into fashion or you think you might wear in a different season.
Have a look through magazines and websites and sees which celebrity style jumps out at you, and also look at your own body and decide what you want to accentuate and what you want to play down.
Then make a list of anything that you think would help you put outfits together better, and don't forget accessories ;)

How about this skirt...?
...with strappy heels and some kind of black cami top, for a couple of Christmas parties I've got coming up?

Answer:
I would say go for a coloured top. An emerald green or peacock blue would look stunning especially at Christmas :)
Answer:
Thanks nursie - do you think the skirt will look nice with strappy heels though - other alternative is boots, but hubby is buying me some for Christmas so I can't have them earlier!
Anyone else for any opinions? Thanks!! :)

I think shoes would look nicer, especially if it is a posd or inside do :)
Answer:
Great - thanks nursie - unfortunately I think I've changed my mind about my original outfit, so it's back to the beginning again - I hate choosing stuff to wear for parties and nights out - I want to feel fantastic but there's so much out there to choose from - so many different styles and colours, sometimes I just don't know where to start! :)
Honest ops on these boots please
