Goodbye for 8 weeks

NO.1. Ask :
Goodbye for 8 weeks
Well my uni work isn't getting done and i only have 8 weeks to do a 12,000 word dissertation, a 4,500 word portfolio, a 2,000 word essay and a mock gobbet, so i'm afraid it's good bye from me for a while. Ten minutes too easily turns into 2 hours on here :o
Don't post too many lovely things while i'm gone!
Answer:
Booty Girl!
Good luck with your essay, dissertation and all!
You will be FINE! ;) Trust me! Been there and also panicked but it always works out as long as you plan your time well and give yourself some ´play´time everyday which can include bagging for a little while ie.30m per day while having your tea break or similar ;)
Good luck and think positive! 8 weeks is plenty of time and you will get it done :)
Answer:
bye bootgirl :(

Answer:
Good luck bootygirl! As Miss Sofia says, you will be fine and come through it with sanity intact ;)
Be kind to yourself, give yourself lots of little breaks and treats and look forward to the study-free days ahead :)

    Smart Work Wear
i am currently on my placemnet year of uni and am workin in office with a very casual dress code (mainly everyone wears jeans). have just been told that i am going to spend a week in HQ in surrey in april and have to dress smartly.
i have no smart clothes as i have never really needed to wear them.
where can i get nice smart cheap clothes and any outfit suggestions would be good
    thanks
    claire x
    Answer:
I noticed New Look has some really nice smart clothes at the moment; pencil skirts, city shorts, and sensible black shoes.
As it'll still be quite chilly in April how about some Pashmina's maybe 3 in colours you really like and have lots of clothes that colour, and if they get too much they can just be put in your bag. Investing in some nice shoes and a bag will make a big difference too.
For the Office I think people look really smart in knee length shorts, tights and heels with a white shirt and black blazer or alternatively a waistcoat.
Good luck in your new job:)
    Answer:
I quite like H M for unusual and reasonably priced work stuff, most places do the boring black suits, and it's supposed to constitute work wear
    Answer:
Bay Trading has lots of cheapish smart work/office-type wear!
    HTH :)
    Answer:
How "smart" does it need to be, did you want a suit? If possible I would stick to seperates so that you can wear them after the week is up with your exisitng wardrobe. Maybe a nice top that can look smart but can also be worn dressed down with jeans etc.
Next do some nice bits and can be suprisingly cheap.

... but 'Hair' is very quiet and I know I can get great advice here ;)
I'm loving this haircut but not sure if it would suit me. I have similar colouring to the model and Mr Shiny says we have the same nose  . My face is quite round though and I'm not very good on the what face shape suits what cut thing.
    Please help me :)
    Answer:
looks nice , they layers seem quite long( so wont make ur face look too round). I think its the colour that makes it exciting rather than the cut though!:)
    Answer:
Just have to say - that girl's hair looks so horrible and brittle and straightened and chemically treated to the DEATH :( .
It's a lovely haircut, but please don't make it look like her's does. :)
    Answer:
Yes, I agree with Klosie - lovely cut and very complimentary to a rounder face but don't kill it all with bad colour/treatments!
It depends how high maintenance you are, too. Whenever I see a cute haircut I like in a mag, I wonder how easy it is to replicate every morning when you're late for work! She's probably had a lot of work done for that one cut - too much in this instance, too!
Must be a very attentive and loving OH to notice similar nose shapes under her layered locks! He's a keeper!!
    Answer:
It's a nice shape. I think the 'dry' look is because it's been razored, which can make hair look dull at the ends.
Tell 'em not to razor off the ends but to use ordinary scissors to thin the bottom of the layers.

    Answer:
A simple white shirt would look nice:)
    Answer:
Or a long sleeved white tee, simple but makes a statement of the waistcoat :)

I agree, I have a similar coloured waistcoat that I tend to wear with my black or cream polo necks.

    NO.5. ask :
    What to do?
I puchased a gorgeous jane norman dress before xmas. its a turquoise (spelling) blue chinese style, with flower detail and capped sleeves. its knee length with a small split on one thigh.
    Should I:
a- leave it as a dress and maybe never wear it again
    or
b- have the dress made into a top which i could wear with jeans, trousers etc.
    The decision is yours.
    Answer:
I'd leave it as a dress for maybe 3-6 months...then if you haven't worn it in that time, make it into a top! It sounds lovely as both :)

I was going to say the same thing!! :)
    Answer:
1 Attachment(s) this is a pic of the dress
    Answer:
I'd keep it as a dress. It looks nice like that but I think it could cheapen it if it was a top.
To make it more wearable, have you considered wearing it over trousers? I think that can look nice with some dresses.
